Chapter 17

Stella's P.O.V: Apprehension began to over take me as I realized that Ytrurgu hadn't come back in awhile..that thought alone caused my mind to go to the worse places. What if those other kids did something to him?
If they can beat Ytrurgu they can definitely beat Goliath,then I'd be all on my own again. These were the thoughts that consumed my mind nevertheless I had to reassure myself that they could do it. After all we were dealing with mere children. However my words of reassurance that I told myself over and over in my head didn't stop this anxious feeling that consumed me.

Emma's P.OV: I jumped outta the window to get away from that Stella lady and the big rock monster but this was in a moment of desperation where I wasn't thinking straight. It wasn't till I was falling that I realized jumping out the window was a bad idea. I tried to stop myself from breaking all my bones so I used my power to try and break my fall which was a very hard thing to do while actively falling out a window. Due to this I couldn't really make myself float peaceful on the ground like I planned yet I still managed to break my fall so instead of breaking my legs I only hurt my ankle which was accidentally broken by me landing on it the wrong way.
I felt the pain right away and sucked it up instead of sitting there crying like I wanted to because I knew that creepy woman would be hunting me. I landed in some weird garden which had more creatures sleeping in it,these ones looked like giant saber tooth tigers with what I believed was rose sliver fur which made those things surprisingly gorgeous.
A great contrast to the other monsters I've seen which got me to wonder more than I already did. Where were the monsters even coming from?
I didn't stop to think about it though surviving seemed more
important.
I forced myself to stand on my hurt ankle as well as limp far away from the mansion as I could.
I travelled the farthest I could get from the there at the time which in hindsight wasn't actually that far. It was far enough for me to be safe at the moment though so I jumped into a Bush nearby to hide giving me a breather to call for help. Well I didn't really call for help but I texted Amber for help hoping she'd bring the others.
Even that annoying green haired demon would have been a relieving sight. I waited for what felt like forever till I heard familiar voices,it was Will and the others!
I did my best attempt to jump out from the bushes which just resulted in me tumbling out of them,that's when I saw Amber,Will,and Drake all staring at me
I was about to tell them we had to run as soon as possible but Amber reacted before I did.
She tackled me into a hug,which took me by so much surprise I didn't reciprocate the hug. "Why,why would you go by yourself?"
She screamed this to me as she hugged me tighter. Then she released me form the hug and look directly at me with eyes that had anger,sadness, and gratefulness all at the same time.
It made me realise that I've been really selfish,I went in all hot headed thinking that I'd avenge my mom but not only did I leave without even telling anybody but I hadn't made a proper plan in the time I've been practicing with my powers.
I just assumed they'd all disapprove of my choice. Amber probably thought I didn't trust her or didn't think she'd support,just thinking about that made me feel like a pile of dog shit.
"I'm sorry " was the only thing I could say at the moment.
Tears streamed down my face as all this feelings came rushing in at once,I grabbed Amber and just cried as a held her tightly. She returned the hug without thinking twice about it.
After standing there hugging her for about a full two minutes Will clears his throat obnoxiously loud taking us out of the moment.
"Guys we probably shouldn't stand around here with monsters and creepy pink haired ladies on the loose." That's when I spotted someone in the distance walking up to us.

Will's P.O.V: As Emma and Amber were facing us both of them started to look behind us causing me to turn around so I can see what they were looking at. That's when I saw a person wearing dark blue jeans,a green shirt,Green leather boots and a black Jean jacket with rolled up sleeves. Even tho they were pretty far away I could tell who it was in the distance because of their distinct hair color,it was Ashe who had finally showed up after the events of the party.
"Yo Ashe !" Drake yelled to Ashe who was still slowly approaching the rest of us. However something about Ashe was off,I thought about our recent phone call and how weird he acted.
This all made me uneasy for whatever reason that I didn't think about till Ashe was getting closer.
"Hello everyone" Ashe said with a uncharacteristically cheerful demeanor. When Ashe got close enough for me to see his eyes I saw that his eyes were purple instead of green which caused me to finally decide to say something about the strange feeling that came over me.
"Hold on for a second,before you get any closer Ashe what's wrong with your eyes?"
"Oh I stopped to get purple contacts,they fit me pretty well I think, thank you for noticing Will"
After he finished speaking I finally understood why I felt off during the phone call. Even tho Ashe sounded like himself he wasn't speaking like he normally would additionally he not just once but twice now he hasn't called me Willy which he called me ever since we were young.
"What did you do with Ashe?"
