Chapter 9

Drake's p.o.v: I ran through the fire using my awesome armor ability but it was still pretty hard to breathe with the smoke. This didn't phase me though since I'm a badass.
But as I got farther I noticed that it got colder which didn't make sense because the flame should be coming from where Ash is right?
That's when i saw Ash laying down like a loser. "Hey nerd i came to save you " I said but Ash put a finger over his mouth telling me to be quiet which i don't know why anyone wouldn't want to hear my godly voice.
"What's the problem " i said but Ashe pointed behind me so i turned around to see what he was pointing at. Behind a tree covered in icicles there was a long skinny eight foot pale thing with a huge gaping mouth and two big black eyes. "What the hell is that!"
I screamed which made the thing let out a wail that made my ears ring.
It also caused the ground to freeze around us. Ashe shot a fire ball at it but the thing spit what looked like an ice blast from a TV show or something,making the whole area very misty and hard to see.
"Quick grab me and run !"
"Oh right i can't see you though " I replied to Ashe but then a hand hidden in the steam  grabbed me and picked me up.
Now i was face to face with the creepy ass ice monster which was not an enjoyable experience.
The thing tried to bite me so i activated my cool  and awesome  armor ability so the walking nightmare  fuel broke its teeth when biting down.
It made a terrifying noise while dropping me and reeled back in what I think was it in pain but i couldn't tell.
I decided to punch it but it slammed me to the ground and created an icicle getting ready to stab me .
As it slammed down the icicle broke on my armor since i guess the monster didn't learn then it got hit in the face with a huge fire ball.
It screamed in pain as its head was on fire making it look like an ugly ghost rider. The creature froze it's head to try and stop the fire but just made it's head an ice cube with steam coming off. I punched it in the leg and it fell over breaking it's ice cube head.
"I guess you're lucky i showed up to stop the monster" I said excepting a thanks at least but ofcourse i didn't get one.
"You didn't do anything im the one who killed it remember? You just distracted it for 5 minutes wasting time.
"Whatever "I said as i lifted Ashe up to heroically carry him outta the woods.
"Ow! Hey be careful!that hurts!" Ashe complained the whole time.
Will's p.o.v: After Drake carried Ashe outside the woods Amber was quick to heal him.
"Thanks at least someone is useful " Ashe  said looking at Drake .
"What! I totally saved your life!"
Drake and Ashe agrued for little bit amusing the rest of us intill we saw Emma running towards us in her pajamas.
"Hey idiot you got here too..."Ashe stopped talking when he saw that she had tears in her eyes . "What happened?" I asked all she said in return was " My dad" and "help me" but somehow we all knew what she meant as if we had some telepathic bond. And in that moment we somehow shared her pain even though no of us had any connection with her dad and we all embraced in a group hug consoling her. Even Ashe joined in. We all also knew what she meant when she asked for our help  regardless if we agreed with it or not all of us promised to help.
