Lance didn't ask to be born.
Especially with tourettes.
When he was younger it wasn't a big deal. He would blurt out things, words like "Happy" or "bebby" his sisters nickname. or random noises. He would also tap his foot or click his tongue.
It wasn't a big deal when he was younger. It wasn't controllable but it wasn't to frequent.
Then he got older.
He started to blurt out swearwords once he got to hear them and would get in trouble if the teachers didn't know his condition. He would bark or blurt out noises and it was embarrassing. He hated it.
And then came the Garrison.
Lance hit puberty some years before, but his condition continued just as it did then. He was able to avoid situations though, At moments he could feel it coming on, he would cover his mouth muffling the word or he would bite his tongue. Two situations he couldn't though, like if it slipped past his tongue or if he was having an episode where he couldn't control it at all, and things would spurt out of his mouth, like he was having a seizure.
But when it did slit past his lips, it was at the worst times.
Especially when he said b*tch right in front of the teacher. While the teacher was telling him to fix his strategy.
And the teacher didn't know of lance's tourettes. No one in the Garrison did, not even Hunk or Pidge.
The teacher sent him to the commander and he was sent to his dorm for a while.
He had an episode alone, while sobbing to himself in the dorm's bathroom.
And he did that a lot.
And then came Voltron.
Lance liked that he was helping the universe.
He did.
But how was someone who was so broken help?
He could ruin peace treaty's, the team's friendship with them, and things like training.
He knew things like that would happen.
And it did.
It was two and a half months into being in voltron, and it was the day lance was supposed to have an episode.
But Lance forgot.
He was too focused on training better.
The whole team was training, and lance suddenly jerked his arm, bumping into Keith.

*Great. Keith is gonna try to fight me now*
"Lance, stop messing around!"-Keith
Lance suddenly remembered.
*Why did my arm fly out?...Oh god i forgot!*
"SH*T"-Lance
"Language."-Shiro
Lance started rapidly clicking his tongue while they took down bots.
"Lance can you stop!"-Pidge
"Your being distracting Lance."-Hunk
"Your screwing everyone up Lance!"-Keith
Lance just couldn't stop. His arms started to fidget and he was shaking his head at random moments.
