The word was out now. After what had happened at the Ministry. With the result of over ten Hogwarts students tortured, severe injuries, and one death. The Ministry couldn't keep it a secret anymore or find a way to cover it up.
Harry hadn't stopped shaking since the death of Sirius. The flashbacks kept coming back. The image of his godfather's corpse still haunted him.
Every once in a while he thought back and remembered Draco. How he had seen him as a Death Eater. He didn't know how to feel. Draco was probably around the most toxic and dangerous people in the the whole Wizarding World. Harry was afraid he'd end up dead. Sooner or later he'd make a mistake and Voldemort would kill him.
Harry couldn't stay mad at Draco. He knew he wasn't a bad person. He knew Draco had been forced into all this. Now he understood everything. Why he had been so distant. How he cut him off his life to protect him. Why he never seemed to smile in class. Why he looked so broken inside.
Harrys POV
I don't know how but Im getting him out of this. But he can't be a Death Eater. I cant imagine loosing him for good. I will save you Draco, that I can promise you.
The summer had been slow and painful. Harry couldn't stand living with his aunt and uncle anymore so he left.
He packed his bags and left. He didn't know where he'd go but he couldn't take it anymore.
And all those promises Sirius had made to Harry about living with him once the war was over, were now nothing but broken unfulfilled promises.
Harry thought the best place to stay was Grimmauld place. Where Sirius had once called home, plus he wouldn't be alone. After all that was the headquarters of the Order of Phoenix.
People like Lupin and the Weasleys were there all the time. Tonks usually was there, and Harry loved Tonks. He thought she was the most badass Hufflepuff he'd ever meet.
The Order of Phoenix was holding up a meeting. Trying to find any information about what Voldemort was planning to do next.
"We know who his followers are. Lucious Malfoy is one of his most Loya followers, why cant we just go after him?"
"It's too risky. The Malfoy's are dangerous. Going after them would be a mistake."
Harry saw the perfect opportunity and spoke up.
"I know this may sound stupid but is there any chance we can save someone very important to me that could possibly die if we don't do anything?"
"What?"
"Lucius and Narcissa have a son by the name of Draco. Lucius has been forcing Draco to become a follower of Voldemort. I'm afraid he'll end up dead if we don't do anything to save him. They're not afraid to kill their followers, we know that. Voldemort has killed over half his followers for failing him." Harry spoke very fast with panic.
Lupin spoke softly trying to calm Harry down.
"Harry, I know you want to keep Draco safe but we have no way to approach them. Voldemort has them under their control. Going anywhere Malfoy Manor would get us killed."
"Please. Im begging you. There must be a way."
"I know it's difficult to understand but Harry there isn't much to do. This is the path Lucius has chosen to take."
"And it doesn't bother you that Draco was dragged into this?"
"We cant do anything for him."
"Your wrong. Its not okay for Draco to die for his fathers mistake."
Harry stormed off, slamming the door behind him. He walked off to his room. Tears rolling down his eyes.
Harrys POV
Well that was no use. The Order isn't even willing to help. I still can't see him get hurt for this. I can't save him, at least not for now but I will do everything to protect him.
