Twinkle Twinkle, Enormous Star

This is not a lullaby,
For some believe that lullabies are for the children,

For we're older,
Our wishes are made on shooting stars,
And 11:11s,

I wish upon a star,
I wish upon the rainbow that comes after the rain,
For I am now a young adult,
And expectations are made,

"Your future is bright! Endure the pain of now! Tis' only temporary, child!"
Oh how they would see how times have changed,
And the young seeks balance,
Positivity!
Easier said than done.

But what if a big star crossed our paths?
Would you wish for the impossible?
Or wish for the best of what's to come,
For what you want,
As you,
Are the master of your life.
