It's Only Human To Feel

Looking at someone that scares you away,
You run,
You run and run,
Until there's no track left.

You find youself,
Back where it began,
Where your heart shattered,
When you gave it your all.

Looking into a pair of eyes,
You doubt if the same would repeat,
And you run the circle again,
Away from your fears.

Trembling at the possibility,
Of the same mistake,
Just another person,
With a different soul.

You fear of letting yourself show,
The bright soul you keep within,
Only to let it go in the end,
Setting yourself free.

It's only human to feel,
The same thing,
Or a whole different world of it,
But you have the choice to keep your spark alive.
