Have you tried measuring the amount you've given away?

Or a whole 1/1?

My dear self,
You can't know for sure.

You get lost in the moment from time to time,
Not noticing how much you gave away.

Keep a little self respect,
Keep yourself interesting to you.

You owe nothing to the world,
Even if it's been nothing but dark to you.

Indulge in those that give you light,
In those that don't mind sharing their light.

But first, learn to love and live for yourself,
Because light shines from within,
Without a heavy heart,
Without a sad soul.

If you can't see it,
Try seeing it in those that believe more so in you.

Answers lie within your own mind,
Confirm it and get on with life.

Because you don't owe others,
Fractions of you,
As every one of them,
Know you as different hues.
