"Rye...I think...we should talk."(America vibes-part 5)

(Rye's POV)

When somebody knocked on our door we pulled away and I stood up from the bed to see who is this.
I opened the door. It was a little girl who was crying and holding a stuffed ginger bear. She had long black hair and big black eyes. She looked like Asian and she was so cute. I kneeled in front of her.
"Hey cutie what happened?" I said as Andy came to me and kneeled next to me.
"I-I lost m-mom a-and d-dad." she said through tears.
"It's okay. What's your name?" Andy said in soft voice and went closer to her. He put his hand on her cheek and caressed it softly.
"Melanie." She said quietly.
"Okay Melanie, I am Andy and this is Rye. We can help you to find your parents, okay?" Andy said as she nodded and smiled a little.
"Okay." Andy said and stood up. I did too. He grabbed Melanie's small hand and came closer to me.
"Stay here. I will find her parents." He whispered in my ear as I shook my head.
"No, I am coming with you." I said quietly as he smiled.
"Okay." He said as he turned again to Melanie. He smiled at her as she smiled at him too.
We went out of the room and started walking towards the elevator.
"So how old are you Melanie?" Andy asked the little girl who had already stopped crying.
"Six." She said proud and smiled at Andy. He smiled at her and giggled.
When we reached the elevator the little girl hugged Andy's leg.
"Hey are you okay?" Andy asked her gently. She just shook her head. Then Andy kneeled in front of her. He cupped her face in his hands so she was looking at him.
"What's wrong?" He asked her quietly as she looked at me then back at him.
"Can I whisper it to you?" She said in her cute baby voice.
"Yeah of course." Andy said as she went closer to Andy's ear.
I don't know what she said but when she said it Andy stood up and then went to the stairs.
"We will go from here, Rye you can go with the elevator." Andy said to me.
I looked at him confused. When he saw my facial expression he sighed and came closer to me. He kissed my cheek and smiled.
"I will explain it to you later, okay?" He whispered as I smiled and nodded.
"I love you." I whispered as he giggled.
"I love you more." He said as he was still holding Melanie's hand tight.
"I love you most baby." I said and kissed his forehead.
"See you." He said and they went down stairs and I went into the elevator.

But why did Melanie want to go just with Andy and not me?

Then when the elevator stopped I went out of it and waited for Andy and the little girl to come. After a minute they came and we all went to the reception.
"Hello. So we found that little girl Melanie. She has lost her parents and can you tell us in which room we can find them?" Andy asked as the girl behind the reception smiled.
"Yeah of course. She just has to tell me their names." She said and we all looked at Melanie. She just shook her head and hugged Andy's leg again. Then Andy kneeled next to her and went closer to her ear.
"Just tell me their names and we will find your mom and dad." Andy whispered to her and she smiled.
"Okay. Their are names are Lillie and Peter." She said and Andy hugged her.
"Good job Mel." He said as she kissed him on the cheek.
"You are good Andy." She said and Andy smiled.
"You are better Mel." He said as she giggled.
"And he is the best." The little girl said and pointed me. I looked at her confused.
I thought she didn't like me.
"Haha yeah he is the best." Andy said and winked at me. I blushed and smiled.
"Okay. We are ready. They are in room 502." She said and smiled at us.
"Thank you so much." I said and she nodded.

It took us 10 minutes to find the room but we found it. Then Andy went to the door. He knocked on it. Then a pretty slim and tall women went out of the room. At the second she saw Melanie she gasped and started crying, she hugged her child tightly. Then she looked at us.
"Thank you. We were trying to find her for so long and we were lost hope. Thank you really." The women said and then one man came too. He was tall and really pretty to be fair. He kneeled next to his family and hugged both of them. Andy and I smiled.
"I guess we have to go now." Andy said as the women stopped him.
"No, we want to thank you." She said as Andy shook his head. He looked sad. He looked like he was going to start crying every moment.

But why?
What happened with my baby?

"No, it's okay." He said faking a smile as she smiled.
"Thank you again." She said and hugged her kid even more tightly.
"Bye." Melanie said and waved at us.
"Bye Mel." I said as Andy just waved at her. Then I grabbed Andy's hand but he pulled away. I looked at him confused as he was watching the floor not looking at me. Then we went out of the hotel.
"Can we sit on a bench, please?" Andy said out of nowhere as I nodded.
"Yeah of course." I said. Then we found a bench near the hotel. We sat on it as Andy hid his face in his small hands.
"Andy?" I asked him. Then I heard him sobbing quietly. I immediately wrapped my arms around him and pulled him closer. His head was on my chest and his face was still buried in his hands. I kissed his head.
"Baby what's wrong?" I whispered as he shook his head.
"Nothing...I am fine...I will be okay." He said through sobs. I hugged him tightly not wanting to let him go ever.
"Shsh, it's okay. I am here. Don't cry." I said and kissed his head again. I didn't know why he was crying but I just wanted him to stop and to smile and to be happy. That's all I want-happiness for both of us.
"Andy." I said quietly. He just shook his head and cuddled into me even more.
"Okay. Just breathe." I said as he tried to calm down.
We stayed like for a while and then he calmed down but he was still cuddled into me.
"Rye...I think...we should talk."
