Drapetomani unveils
As I stood behind the curtains
Scrutinizing snowflakes scintillating
In the invigorating zephyr
Just like the flickering
Of the fire in the backyard
Where I watched
The sparkles falling
As by mesmeric magic,
Reminding me of ours:
An amative, charming glamour
Enchanting me till I wish over
The plethora of stars —
A broken syzygy,
A broken felicity —
To drive me to your heart.Over a thousand yottameters
Stood those two true-blue lovers
Filled with titanic lacuna
And languishing basorexia
Which would've lulled them
Into an aeonian euphoria.
Nostalgia hence unveils, again
Under the exfoliating sheets of snow
Leaving behind a pint-sized stain;
A fugacious culaccino,
To be downright wiped
As the hours run dry
Like our tears for tryst.
If only you knew how much
I miss every bit of it;
How much I miss every aspect of us;
And how much I miss everything about being around him, and just him, himself.
