His Twitches are Calming

New Master?

Toby couldn't find words to speak. Only knowing she wanted to keep them both away from his master. Her last sentence lingering in his thoughts. "N-no you d-don't." Alice looked at him in the eyes and gently kissed his cheek. 

"Yes, I do. Slenderman needs to put in his place." With that, Toby pushed away and started backing away shaking his head.  

"S-saved me." Toby's eyes were wide and staring at Alice. She pulled on his arm to pull him back. 

"He did, but he hurt you." She didn't understand why he couldn't face the facts. Toby tried to back away again his ankle not making it any easier. Alice held his arm and sat him on the couch. "Just breathe." Alice started to panic that he was going to leave her. 

Toby sat down and looked up at her like his entire world just got crashed. Not wanting to the realization that what he had with her was true and more than anything Slenderman could provide. Alice forced a smile stroking his hair. "Just breathe." She repeated.

He let his breathing clam down on its own still looking up at her. "I guess you're my m-master now?" Toby looked into her eyes with a slight bit of hope. 

"Sorta, yes, but more like roommates, equals." The thought of her becoming similar to her father shot through her head, tears appearing. Toby tilted his head. This not corresponding with anything he's come to know. "We will live together, but you won't have to do anything you don't want to. You'll get to think for yourself." Alice smiled.  

"You don't get it... do you?" Toby stuttered. Alice frowned and shook her head. Her hand cupped his face. 

"Tell me what you want."

Toby knew she wouldn't understand the fact he couldn't make his own decisions like that, being out of human contact. He only knew to take orders and kill, but still tried to do what she said trying to use that to go on. "Y-you." 

Alice blushed and kissed his forehead. "I'll help you. We'll even go killing if you want." Toby nodded. She hugged him. "You need rest." 

"N-no." Toby shook his head. "N-not tired." Alice nodded and sat on the couch next to him laying her head on his shoulder. "They're going to notice I'm gone." 

"You're going to leave aren't you. You want to go back.." Alice looked up at him worried. Toby pointed at her. 

"N-new master." He cracked a smile hoping this would work. 

"Yes, I'm your new master." Alice kissed his cheek. "They won't expect you to be here. If they find out, I will take care of it." Toby started to feel at ease.
