The last class of the day, had just ended. Yenon made her way off the college campus, and ran down the street. She didn't live too far from the school, which she was more than thankful for. She was always on time to her classes everyday, because of it. She lived about 2 blocks away. Yenon gets to her street and runs up to the familiar store that her parents owned. She opened the door and walks in, the bell above the door jingling. She was greeted by the refreshing scent of the flowers. Her mother looked up from the counter and smiles when she sees her daughter. "Hey honey, how was school?" She asks. "It was good! I'm going to drop my stuff off upstairs and I'll be right down to take over!" Yenon tells her, running past the counter.
She opens a door in the back, jogging up the steps and opens another door at the top. She walks in and leaves her jacket on the coat rack by the door. She left her stuff on the couch in the living room. She grabs a few of her books and comes back down. She shut the door and walks up to the counter. "Okay, Mom. I got it from here." Yenon smiles at her. She smiles. "Thank you, sweetie. I'm heading out to do some shopping. You know what to do if you need me. Your father is out with some friends. He should be home tonight." She smiles, as she gets her coat. Yenon walks behind the counter and sits on the chair. "Okay, Mom. I'll be here. Be safe, love you!" She tells her. She smiles and leaves the store. The bell jingles as the door opens and closes. Yenon watches as her mother walks down the street and disappears around a corner.
Yenon placed her books on the counter and decides to do math first, despite hating it. She opened the text book to the assigned page and opens up her notebook. She had already started it. She rests her chin in her hand, as she starts to work on the problems again. She knew it would be a slow day. The weekdays were always their slow days. But during weekends, summer and a few holidays, they were busy. She hums to herself, as she focuses on her work.

Yenon was in the middle of studying for her Chemistry final tomorrow, when she hears the bells above the door, jingle loudly. The sound of voices filled the shop. She looks up from the study book, to see 4 young men had walked in. "Hello, welcome! Please let me know if you boys need anything." She tells them, with a polite smile. One had soft wisps of light Auburn in his hair, one had medium colored brown hair, another had dark brown hair. The last one had black hair. The 4 of them looked over in her direction and straight up ignored her. Wow. Rude. She watched as they walk towards the back of the store. Once they had disappeared down an aisle, she scoffs softly to herself. "Ignoring me..." Yenon hated it when people did that. She grumbles to herself and goes back to her studying. She leans back in the chair, sighing. This final is going to be a bit more difficult than the one last week. The sound of somebody clearing their throat, pulled her away from her thoughts. She looks up to see one of the boys that had walked in. The one who had medium colored brown hair. "Did you find what you were looking for?" She asks him, placing her book on the counter. "No. I didn't. Where are your lilies?" He asks, a slight attitude in his voice. Yenon gets up from the chair and gives him a polite smile, despite wanting to smack this boy upside the head. "This way." She tells him, walking past him. He follows her, staying silent.
Yenon walked down an aisle and stops. "Right here, sir." She tells him. He stops beside her and looks in her direction. She looks back at him. "That was all I needed." He snaps. She nods and walks away. Jeez, he's rude. He didn't even thank her for showing him where the lilies were. Maybe she should have told him to screw off instead. She sighs and walks back to the counter and sits down again. She picks up her book and looks down the aisle he was in. She watches as he looks at the different assortment of lilies her parents had. While his attention was on the flowers, she took the chance to study him. He had smooth skin, that she imagined felt like silk. His jawline was slightly defined as well. He was actually quite handsome. But, he had a nasty attitude. Bummer. All the nicest looking men usually do. Yenon looks away from him, and goes back to studying.
Until the other 3 walk over to the counter. She watches them and puts the book down. "Are you boys ready to check out?" She asks them. "Just ring them up so we can leave. We have somewhere to be." The one with the light Auburn hair, tells her as he puts the flowers on the counter. She looks at his flowers, ringing them up. She tells him the price. She watches as he pulls out his wallet and puts the amount on the counter. "Keep the change." He says to her as he grabs his bouquet, and leaves the shop. Yenon rolls her eyes and puts the money in the register. She looks up as the one with black hair, hands her his flowers. She takes them and tells him the price. He gives her the money. She gives him his change. "Thank you." I smile at him. He just looks at her and leaves. She sees the boy had gotten his lilies and was waiting next to his friend. She rings both of them up. They both pay her. "Thank you. Have a good day." She says as they walk out of the shop.
Yenon watches the four of them walk away, crossing the street. They weren't exactly the rudest customers she's had, but also not exactly the nicest.
