It had only been a week after the incident. But to Yenon, it felt like a year. She'd been miserable ever since it happened. She's hardly slept. She doesn't stuff her face with food as much as she used to. It made her parents and her friends worry about her. But, she refused to tell her parents what had happened. She only told Sojin and Yeri. She had told them everything, so they were mad at Changbin for what he did and how he treated her. Currently, Yenon was sitting on the living room floor at Sojin's house. She was crying and trying her best to talk to her friends. It was hard for them to understand her, but they could make most of it out.
Yenon sniffled and wiped her nose on her sweater sleeve. "I m-miss H-Hyunjin. I h-hate a-avoiding h-him." She sobs out sadly. Sojin and Yeri look at each other over their friend's head. They give each other looks, before looking back at her. "Aww, honey. I'm sure you guys will make up again, soon. Don't worry." Yeri says, rubbing Yenon's back in a soothing motion. "H-he looked so sad t-today. I f-felt s-so bad." She cries more. "I'll go get some more soda." Sojin says and gets up from the floor. She goes to the kitchen. "And I'll get you some more tissues." Yeri suggests. She gets up and runs to get some. Lying on the living room floor, was a sea of snot filled tissues. Yenon coughs some and sniffles some more. There was a knock at the door. "Oh! That might be the pizza! I'll get it!" Sojin calls from the kitchen. Yenon gives a really loud sniff and wipes her nose on a tissue. She looks over, seeing Sojin grab her wallet and go to the door. She turns away and hears her phone vibrate. She sniffles and picks it up. It was already on, so she saw who had messaged her.
It was Hyunjin.
Yenon hesitated, before opening the message. She was greeted with a sad message from him. She chews on her lip, debating on if she should respond or not. She decides not to and clicks off her phone. She tosses it onto the coffee table. Sojin returned to the living room with more soda and now the pizza. She puts it all the table. Yeri returns with the tissues. They both sat beside Yenon. "Alright. Let's all stuff our faces. That's including you Yenon. And we'll watch a movie." Sojin announces, opening both the pizza boxes. Yeri puts the tissues on the floor in front of her best friend. Yenon sighs as Sojin turned on a movie. Yeri got up to turn off the lights and sat down again.
Yenon leaned back against the couch, pulling her legs to her chest. She rests her cheek on her arms. She watched the movie, but didn't. She was too focused on being sad, to pay attention. She really missed Hyunjin. She felt lonely without him. He was always there for her, when Sojin and Yeri were unable to. They spent a lot of time together. They had met at the beginning of this school year. He was the first to talk to her. From there, their friendship had blossomed quite quickly.
Yenon had grown used to having him around.
