"I-i wouldn't really say wife..." i say.
They frown. "Excuse me?"
"Your daughter put me down as her wife because they wouldn't let me see her if she put me down as just her girlfriend" i clarify.
"Oh! Well, such a shame you haven't proposed yet. You both would look lovely, being married" hayley's mom said.
I raise my eyebrows in surprise. I didn't know they spoke their minds so boldly. I thought her parents were going to hate me or something. Especially with how I'm looking right now.
"Have you seen hayley yet?" I ask trying to change the subject.
"Yes, actually. We are glad she is safe" hayley's dad says.
"I'm going to get something to eat, would you like anything Misses and Mister...?" I say unsure of their last names.
"Just call me Sarah and call him Jamie" Sarah says.
I nod. "Well, Sarah and jamie, would you like anything to eat or drink?" I repeat.
Sarah smiles and shakes her head, so does jamie. "No thank you" they decline politely.
I nod and head off to hayley's room. I knock before walking in.
"Hey babe. I'm going down to the cafeteria, want anything?" I ask.
She nods. "Just a protein bar" she says.
"Are you allowed to have those?" I ask unsure. She gasps. "Of course!" She says quickly.
I walk closer to her and kiss her forehead. "I don't believe you but i will still sneak one in for you. I also met your parents outside and i love them already! Be right back!" And with that i run off.

She what?!
Hopefully my parents didn't say anything embarrassing!
After about a few minutes kehlani comes back and brings me my bar and apple juice.
"Thanks baby!" I squeal. Haven't eaten in like forever but if they see that I'm full they will be suspicious so I'm eating small. And i can't tell kehlani that they have starved me because she will do something about it.
"What did my parents say?" I ask.
"Well...they said we should get married" kehlani says as she gets closer to me.
I sit up. "Is that right?"
She nods. She leans down and kisses my neck. I smile. "So wife me up" i say.
I can feel her smile against my skin. She kisses me one more time before pulling away. She chuckles and sits back down.
"You should get going and get some rest" i say. Kehlani frowns and looks at me.
"I'm not leaving you" she says. I laugh. "Yes you are. You need to go" i insist.
She shakes her head. "No."
"I have my parents here with me, don't worry. About that though..." i start off.
I really don't want to bother kehlani but i don't want my parents staying the night at the hospital either.
"Mhmm?"
"Can you drop my parents off at my house?" I ask.
"Of course but I'm coming right back to you" kehlani says.
"Lani! No! Go home!" I say almost yelling.
"Fine! But I'll keep on texting" she says.
I nod and she kisses me before leaving.
My parents come in to say their goodbyes and leave with kehlani. I'm glad i went grocery shopping before all of this, if not they wouldn't have anything to eat.
I don't cook but it's good to have food around in case something is up, like right now.

Fuck what hayley said! I can't sleep without her.
I throw the covers to the side and get out of bed and throw whatever i have in sight on.
I grab my car keys and run out. I drive to the hospital. "Sorry ma'am no visitors allowed inside right now, unless you are a family member" the receptionist says.
"I'm her wife though" i say. The receptionist looks and nods. I smile and run off to hayley's room.
I open the door and see hayley on her phone. She sees me and seems rather mad than happy.
"God dammit lani! I thought i told you to go home!" She yells. "And i did!" I say.
"Then what the hell are you doing here?!"
"I just came back because i can't sleep" i say smiling. She sighs and chuckles a little. She scoots over and pats the empty space next to her.
I smirk and walk over to her and lay down wrapping my arms around her waist and laying my head on her chest.
"Your parents talked a lot on the way to your house" i say. "Like what about?" Hayley asks.
"The fact that you used to play drums when you were little is so adorable" i say. Hayley smiles then laughs.
"I still do" she says. "Yeah but little you with these huge drums! That's adorable" i say.
"When will i meet your parents?" Hayley asks.
I stay silent and think about the fact that i don't have my parents with me. I don't know if i should answer or try to change the conversation. But it's too late because hayley asks again.
"I...don't have my parents with me" i say a little bit more quiet.
"Oh..I'm sorry for asking" hayley says.
"It's ok, you were just curious nothing wrong about that, right? Just like we were curious with girls" I say trying to cheer up the mood.
Hayley laughs and then she suddenly yawns. "Rest baby rest" i say as i yawn too. We both drift off to sleep in a matter of seconds.
Lord i can't wait to be back home in my bed with hayley in my arms.
