It was night and I just tucked in Kona to bed.

Davon was in the kitchen drawing a model of a building for his engineering class as for me, I had to study the police codes for my public safety class.

I looked over towards Davon and noticed he was sketching someone.

It was me, a beautiful black and white sketching. All of his drawings are black and white since he became colorblind four years ago.

He was at my house when it burned down. I don't remember much on that night except Davon carrying me to safety.

"You've been staring at me for a while now. Are you that in-love with me already?" he teased.

"Oh shut up, you're so full of yourself,"I retorted back at him. "There's no need to be embarrassed babe. I'm all yours to have," he said as he winked at me.

"Aren't you worried if going missing like the rest of my boyfriend... exes?" I carefully asked him.

"Nope, I'm stronger and smarter. Our unknown criminal can't get me. Like, look at my guns," he said while flexing his muscles.

"Oh yea you'll scare them away for sure now," I said sarcastically.
"By the way I've gotten a report from my private investigator. Someone claimed to have seen him fighting with a guy but he was wearing a long black jacket and a scarf that covered his face. That was 3 days before they announced him and his family were missing. There's more." He motioned for me to come over and see something on his laptop. It was a video of Jay before he went missing. He was at a night club and with him was a blonde girl wearing pants and a long brown jacket. The top part of her face was covered with a hat. It was weird how someone would wear conservative clothes at a club.

"I knew he was cheating on me. I just didn't want to believe it but there's my evidence," I said looking away from the screen.

"Zoey wait there's more," Davon added.

As I look back at the screen, I saw the girl put something in his drink and Jay drank it all. They both walked away from the camera but I knew that was the last time he would show up again.

Davon explained to me that some guys were recording themselves at the night club and accidentally captured Jay and that blonde girl. The bartender said the girl had green eyes and seemed to be wearing a blonde wig.

"Well it's better than nothing. Are you ok Zoey?" he asked.

"Yea, at least it gives us a lead. It's a girl with green eyes but there's dozens of girls that has green eyes in Riverwood. We should call your sister over, she probably knows most of them," I suggested.

Kate managed to list down most of the green-eyed girls in Riverwood. None of them had any connections with Jay. Kate made us coffee since it was Friday so we wouldn't have to worry about school tomorrow.

"Looks like Davon was wrong about the criminal being a boy," teased Kate.

"Maybe she has people that work for her. I'm just saying Jay is a well-built football player, it would be hard for her to lift or carry him to hide him," replied Davon, "Anyways I have something else to show you guys. I contacted Chase to see if he can zoom in to the face of the girl and he just sent me the results."

"Umm we're not going to ask where you get these men for whatever secret work you have," I said.

The video was starting to play and the screen started to zoom and clear the face of the girl.

We all started to lean in and Kate lost balance and accidentally tipped over Davon's mug full of coffee on to Davon's laptop . The laptop's screen went black and it wouldn't turn back on anymore.

"OH MY GOSH! Davon I'm so sorry I lost my balance and I didn't mean to... can't we view the video on your phone or something? There has to be another way I'm so sorry Zoe," Kate said hysterically.

"No I can't because my phone went missing this afternoon. It's fine I'll just get it fixed but we'll have to wait," he announced.

"Don't worry Kate I can wait," I lied. The truth was I couldn't wait and my time was running out. The police will blame me if there isn't any evidence to be presented.
