Davon was breathing hard from running.

He followed a path familiar to him. It lead to the old cabin that was full of his childhood.

He made a right turn and finally saw the cabin. He went inside to hide and looked around the dark room in order to decide where to hide.

Then he remembered that the basement door was hidden. He quickly ran to the kitchen and uncovered the basement door. As he went inside he made sure the rug covered the door before fully closing it.

He carefully descended down the stairs. The room was cold and dark. The creaking of the wooden stairs didn't help the uneasy atmosphere. Davon finally arrived at the last step to the basement.

Davon felt around his pockets of his pants and jacket. He felt his phone at the right pocket of his jacket. He used the flashlight on his phone to see. As he was walking to the right side of the room, he saw three bodies tied up with rope and blindfolded. As he got closer, he saw the familiar red, black, and blonde hairs.

He kneeled down beside Zoey and tried to wake her up. It was obvious they were knocked out cold so Davon looked around the basement to find a weapon in cased the kidnapper unexpectedly came back. The left side of the room was empty. There wasn't anything in the room that could be used as a weapon.

There was a shuffling sound behind him and his heart started to beat fast. He slowly turned around and saw Rose sitting up. He walked towards her and took off her blindfold. She was shocked seeing him and checked behind him to see if the person came back.

"What are you doing here?" Rose whispered.

"I was with Detective Huffman and Beins but someone shot Mrs. Huffman so I took off running," he replied.

"Quick! Untie me, " she commanded.
Davon did as she commanded and started with her wrist. "Who did this to you?" he asked. The knot on her wrist came off. Then he started untying the ropes of her ankles. He noticed she was chained to the wall.
"It was Mr. Beins. The motorcycle that crash my car was his," she told him.

"What? Why would he do this?" Davon asked.

"I don't fucking know! The jacket the motorcycle driver was wearing had his name tag that was stitched on the jacket," She annoyingly said.

"Your ankle is chained to the wall. I don't have it," he confessed.
Rose groaned and gave him a stern stare. "Then go look for it," she said, "It's gotta be somewhere in this place."

"Fine," he responded. Davon started his way back to the kitchen. He opened the slowly making sure no one was around.

After he got out, Davon made sure to cover the way to the basement just to be safe. The fact that the cabin didn't have any working lights made his surroundings worse.

Every step he took would make the floorboards creak. It was hard to see anything. Davon didn't know where to start looking for the keys.

"The keys could be with Mr. Beins," he said to himself. He made his way to the living room to see if anyone was there. He found no one and continued to the "meeting room".

His and Zoey's parents called it the meeting room because they use it to discuss about business. The door made a creaking sound as he opened it. The room was mostly empty except a couch and coffee table. The room had two big sliding windows that were broken.

Davon hugged himself since it was colder in this room. He checked around the room but it was useless. He was about to give up on this room until he saw something off at the wall behind the door. He push the door aside and saw a rectangular, hidden cabinet.

He quickly opened it and saw keys and some documents. He instantly grabbed the keys but had doubts about taking the documents. He decided to come back for it later and went back to the basement.

"Finally your back," Rose cried out .Zoey's chain was the he unlocked. Then followed Kate and Rose was last. Rose gave him an angry expression. "I'm the only one that's awake yet I was last," she complained as he was unbinding the room around her torso and arms.

"They're more important to me than you," he said.

Rose was shocked if what he said and looked down at the floor because she felt like crying."Yea, I know." Her voice was barely heard by Davon because he already started untying Zoey." They're knocked out. We should just escape and then come back with help."

"We're in the forest and far from town. Plus it's night time already. Mr. Beins has a higher chance of finding us than us finding help," Davon retorted, "We could at least untie them." Rose stayed quiet and Davon looked at her. "Please untie my sister since it'll be faster," he ordered.

Rose quickly untied Kate. "Are we going to have to carry them?" she asked.

"Yea, I'll carry Zoey and you can carry my twin," Davon instructed.
Rose was taken back by his idea. "Excuse me? Your sister weighs a ton," she complained.

Davon sighed, "Alright then I'll carry Kate and you can carry Zoey."

"Ew I don't wanna touch her," Rose protested.

Davon gritted his teeth and tried to keep himself calm. "Look Rose, this isn't the time to be a bitch can you just do what I said," Davon said.

Ross rolled her eyes and carried Zoey in piggy-back style while Davon did the same action.

Davon led the way and push the door open using his head. Rose followed him as they made their way to the exit. He opened the door and checked if anyone was near by before stepping out.

"Wait wouldn't we get lost," Rose announced.

Davon looked back at her and said, "It's fine. There's a sheriff department near here."
