Chapter 7

Rose's P.O.V.

I woke up blindfolded on a cold stoned floor. My wrist, legs, and arms were tied with ropes.

As I tried sitting up I heard the sound of chains rattle and felt a cold touch on my right ankle. I felt so scared that I started crying. I attempted for my hands to reach my blindfold but failed. 

I've never felt so helpless before in my whole life.

Suddenly, I heard a door open and footsteps descending down a stair. I immediately started backing up towards the wall trying to make myself small as possible.

The footsteps stop right in front of me and I waited for my abductor to say something. Instead I felt a hand petting my hair.

I was frozen in place because I wasn't sure what they were planning to do with me."If only you stayed out of the way," a familiar voice spoke but I couldn't figure who was the owner of the voice.

I shouted, "Why are you doing this?!"

"You weren't part of the plan so you don't deserve to know," the voice replied. I needed for them to say more words so I can figure out who's voice is belongs to but I couldn't think straight. I was starting to panic and everything felt hot.

I kept shouting towards the person to set me free. I finally heard the door shut. I started to cry again uncontrollably.

My body started shaking and I screamed for help hoping someone could hear me.

-At the Police Station-

Third P.O.V.

Detective Huffman and Beins were reading the Hamore twins' background at their private office.

A police officer burst inside the room startling both the detectives. The officer was out of breath and sweaty.

The two detectives look at each other with bewildered expressions."Kate Hamore's car was discovered in the forest," the officer reported, "It seemed like someone crash into it intentionally. They are also missing."

"What do you mean by 'they'?" Mr. Beins asked the officer. Mrs. Huffman handed the officer a glass of water and offered him a chair.

"The other Hamore twin reported that Zoey Belladonna was accompanying her as they were driving back to the town," the officer replied.

"Where is other twin right now?" questioned Mrs. Huffman.

The officer calmly replied, "I don't know. He left after he reported finding his sister's car wrecked."

Both the detectives looked at each other. "Get a search warrant on the Hamore's house immediately," commanded Mr. Beins.

The officer immediately left and called someone to attain a search warrant. Mr. Beins pulled out Davon's files and started writing down words. His partner looked at him with confusion.

Next, he went to the darting board where they laid out their evidences.

"What are you doing?" she asked.

"After the fire at Belladonna's house, Davon lost his memories. The reports said that he suffered from obsession. An addiction towards Zoey Belladonna," he stated.
