Zoey's P.O.V.

The Riverwood students were all gathered in the gym about last night's incident. Construction workers found a white porsche that have been hit. There was blood in the driver's seat but there wasn't a driver.

Everyone at my school knew it belong to Rose since she drives that car to school everyday and parks in a specific spot. I was trying to find my boyfriend and Kate but I couldn't see them anywhere. They were both absent for first period.

"YOU DID IT DIDN'T YOU!? YOU MONSTER!" a voiced yelled behind me.

I turned around to see Winter and Ciara with angry faces. Due to Winter's loud accuse, we manage to gain a few audience.

I wasn't in a mood to fight but I know people are guessing it was my fault. The whole school knows Rose and I don't get along but that doesn't mean I would hurt her.

I took a deeper breath and answered, "No it wasn't me. I don't even own any vehicle to be able to reach that part of town at night."

Winter slapped me on the face before yelling more hurtful words. I didn't want to say anything because for some reason I feel like it is my fault why Rose is missing right now.

I continued to stare down the floor. Then another echo of a slap was heard, but this time it wasn't me that for hit.

I looked up and saw Winter with a shock expression while keeping her gaze at Kate."You have no right to accuse someone guilty of a crime that they didn't commit," Kate announced.

"How do you know she's innocent?" Ciara mockingly asked.

"There isn't any evidence that proves her guilty so leave her alone," Kate said with gritted teeth.
There was a crowd around us now. Everyone could feel the tension between them.

Thankfully, the principal came and manage to calm everyone down. Everyone was seated in the gym and the principal along with some teachers were centered in the gymnasium. I asked Kate," Where's Davon?"

"You miss him already," she playfully replied.

I gave her a serious look as my response."Relax. His at home, still sleeping. I'm guessing my uncle manage to convince him to drink well that's what my uncle told me when he dropped off Davon," Kate responded.

"Students please quiet down," the vice principal announced, "The principal has an important matter to discuss to all of you here." Our vice principal was a woman in her mid 30s.

Our principal stood up and took the microphone from the vice principal. The man in charge of our school was in his early 40s. "As you have heard, your fellow school mate, Rose Valkyrie, is missing," he paused and looked around the gym.

Everyone was deadly silent. "The police concluded that there is a criminal amongst the people in this town. I advise for you students to go home directly after school. The detectives have informed the us that the criminal is a man."

There were gasped and murmurs heard around the area. People making theories on who it is. I looked at Kate, and she gave me a worried expression. "Kate, I want to see Davon after school," I ordered.

"What about Kona?" she asked.

"I'll call Mr. and Mrs. Barlow to look after her for a while," I answered. Davon could be a suspect right now and the fact that he's not here makes matters worse.
