Boy meets....

Chapter 21

The shop was not that crowded when Jungkook got there. He called Jimin and told him to take everyone and arrive at the shop.

After 10 minutes the door jingled and in came his 6 brothers.

Namjoon looked bewildered when he saw Jungkook franatically  searching for something.
"Jungkook ah calm down! "
"Hyung come here help me find the toffee"

Hoseok was busy looking at a spiral lollipop when he heard Jungkook.
"How is this sweet supposed to look like?"
"How will I know hyung?"
"Then isn't it futile to search for something you don't know the appearance of?"

"You're right." Jungkook slumped his shoulders and was about to get out of the shop when the owner came down from an almost invisible floor above .

"Are you guys looking for something? "

"Yes!" They all said in unison.
"Tell me the clues"

They all got extremely astonished and that is when all of them realised this game was more elaborate than they had expected it to be.

Namjoon told him everything and after hearing the story, he said "the first answer was sunlight right?"
"Yes", said Yoongi.

"Do you know there is a special sweet that is made by our family and the ingredient is a secret?"

All of them remained silent racking their brains for information.

Jin was busy chewing the end of his hoodie tie when he suddenly remembered something that his father had told him.

A five year old boy was cheerfully  chasing dragonflies in the garden as his father sat on a nearby chair and happily looked at his son playing, ignorant to the world.

After a while the  boy ran up to his father and pulled at his trousers.
His father looked down and saw a small boy with  big round eyes and fluffy cheeks looking up at him,  smiling, he took him on his lap . As soon as he did,  the boy looked up at the  sky and pointed at the sun, "dad, where does the sun  stay?"

"High above the clouds."

"Does the sun know how to sing?"

Laughing , the father said, " maybe it does . You can hear it if you close your eyes."

"Can I hold the sun?"

To this , his father said, " Yes ! I'll take to to a place where you can get a little piece of the sun !"

That day , little  Jin went hand in hand with his father to this very shop ,to get a little piece of the sun.

Jin suddenly said , " I know, it looks like the sun!"

The owner smiled and silently went behind the counter to bring out a box full of suns.

All of them huddled up and looked at the toffee.

"It's called the sunshine soufle"

Namjoon chuckled , "It does not look like a soufle."

"I know maybe dad kept the name because it rhymed!"

They all realised that the clue was inside the wrapper of one of those toffees and decided to buy all of them, the one who lost the game of rock paper scissors had to buy it.

It was Taehyung.
