Chapter 15

Nobody's P.O.V

JUNGKOOK AH ! COME OUT RIGHT NOW HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU NEED TO POOP?

*faint sounds*

I'M NOT POOPING JIN HYUNG I CAN'T FIND MY SHOE!!

After a bickering for about 2 minutes, Jungkook came rushing down  the front stairs and caught up with Jin who lived two blocks away. They always went to school together ever since Jin had shifted to their school.

The first day when Jin came to the cafateria,  all seats were full except one beside a doe eyed boy with black tousled hair who looked engrossed  and extremely shook by something as he kept staring blankly at nothing in particular. Jin had sat beside that boy with his tray of food. At the sound of the tray hitting the table, the boy  looked at him and Jin  smiled at him asking him whether he wanted to share. The boy flashed a cute bunny smile and they both started eating their meals. That was the very first day they walked home together. Jin got to know that the bambi eyed boy was called Jungkook. Since then, they  always went to school together and returned home together.

Both of them started discussing the possibilities of the next clue and the meaning of the first when they heard their names being called from the front of the bus stop, it was Jimin who was running to catch up to them with his floppy blonde curly hair and crinkly eye smile. They started to go towards their school.

"Hyung,  what if it means that the sunlight will reveal some hidden invisible writing on a wall or something?"

"Jimin ah that's too far fetched but it's also not imposdible though."

"Jungkook ah, how did you know the answer?"

"I don't recall completely but I think it was a dream."

"Woah"

While they were conversing they reached the school and saw the others huddled in a circle.
Namjoon lifted his head from his phone to see the three approaching and he signalled with his eyes for them to go to the terrace.

Once they were in their hideout all of them scattered all over the terrace to see where the sunlight could strike and what it meant.

Jimin P.O.V

What on earth are we supposed to look for? Sunlight hits everything and we cannot just isolate one from all of that! What an absurd clue.

While I was scanning the basket ball court for any signs, I started recalling the memory of the 7 of us playing one summer evening. We were in 10th grade and it was sultry and humid that day, I remember we had a race till the swimming pool that was devoid of water for some reason. We had planned to run till the pool and then climb down the stairs,  the first one to reach the opposite wall would win. The loosers would have to tereat him with food.  We all had sprinted towards the pool and I was parallel with Yoongi hyung and Jungkook.  I saw behind me for a split  second to see Jin hyung and Namjoon hyung almost fighting and pushing to go further than the other, just then Hoseok hyung ran in top speed and crossed us like a gust of wind along with a very high pitched laugh. Taehyung started laughing midway and his pace slowed down, I kept on running while registering all of the ruckus going on around me but as I reached the edge of the pool , while the others almost tumbled upon me for my sudden halt , Hoseok hyung was already downstairs sprinting towards the other wall. His shouts of victory echoed all through the empty pool, we all jumped down and ran towards him like a mob of fans and all of us started shouting and dancing around.

There was no hindrance, no meaning to this but still we did it, we felt happy and free even if it was for a short time. I knew we had eachother and nothing could go wrong. I know all of us thought the same thing  in that particular  moment our eyes spoke the same words when we looked at eachother.

Yoongi P.O.V

I  was busy looking at the school building staring blankly at it.

What's the use of all this?  Why waste precious nap time to find clues that'll lead to nothing but a box if chocolates? Or maybe a voucher? 

Honestly  this surpassed my mind.
I was busy watching a snowflake settle on the pavement when I noticed  Namjoon looking at the church near the school. He was extremely stoic and kept looking at his watch and back at the church.

I went up to him to ask but thought  the better of it. I saw the others notice the scene and silently called them. We all grouped behind Namjoon waiting in bated breath of what was to be revealed.

Suddenly an audible whisper was heard from him.
"Guys, I think I know what the clue means.  It means that sunlight is going to illuminate something when it hits that object at a particular angle. When I scanned the area, I suddenly noticed that the church near the school has a rainbow tinted glass window at the top of the building directly angled with the rising sun."

He looked at his watch , we  followed his gaze towards the watch . He said, "so just as the sun rises and is visible at the top of our school", he looked up directly at the glass window and so did we and we heard him speak ," the sunlight falls on that window to illuminate it" . As soon as he said it the light hit the surface of the beautiful tinted window and as if in slow motion the window illuminated and burst out with the seven colours of the rainbow.

"The second clue  Is waiting for us in that Church"

We all looked at eachother and broke into a run down the spiral stairs and across the front gate to reach our destination.
