NOBODY'S P.O.V
I remembered the days when we sneaked out of school during recess and climbed over the fence to go to the sweet shop across the road . It was a wee little shop, it looked like a building  straight out of a fairytale.

It resembled a small cottage with beautiful flowers and shrubs trickling down like paint. The doors used to open with a jingle , and warmth, along with the smell of butter and cocoa welcomed our senses. The shop was packed with myriad kinds of sweets wrapped in versatile covers.

The shopkeeper was interesting, he was old but you could  never really guess how old he was, when we went there for the last time before we graduated, he did not look a day older than when we were children. This always surprised me.

He had a special toffee that he had created. It was his unique recepie and we all loved it.

It was mango flavoured and resembled a tiny sun. He called it the sunshine soufle. I don't really know why it was called a soufle , it did not resemble anything similar to  a soufle.
He never checked in on us and always gave us some sweets for free.
I miss him and his wee little shop.

The shop is still there but his grandchild owns it now, I'm thankful the essence of his presence is still captured inside that shop like a potpourri filled with the smell of Jasmine.

I still visit the shop every morning.

I still hold sunshine soufle in my hands and return back to the world away from that perfect fairytale.
