(Lex was shoved through the entrance of Blackgate Penitentiary, the gate behind him closing with a sickening creaking sound)
(As Lex was brought into the cell block he could hear the sounds of the inmates one particular sound ringing out above the rest, the sound of terrifying laughter...)
(Once he was behind his cell door, Lex stood by the tiny window seeking out what view he had left of the outside world, but all he saw was the pouring rain and the nightmarish glow of downtown Gotham City)
Lex: "Nice work Clark. But if you think this is how it all ends then you don't know me as well as you should."

(Clark was in the barn fixing the tractor when he sensed a presence behind him)
(He turned but stopped in his tracks when he realized who it was)
Clark: "Lana?"
Lana: "Hey Clark. Surprised?"
Clark: "Yeah I..what are you doing here? Chloe told me you went to live with Henry Small."
Lana: "I am. And since he lives in town and now I do too I thought I'd stop by. I heard about Lex getting arrested. Nice work."
Clark: "Heh well I can't take all the credit. It was actually Tess who helped me with that. I know she used to work for Lex but I really think she's changed now."
Lana: "Well as much as I wish I could have played a part in Lex's fall from grace I'm so grateful we don't have to worry about him anymore."
Clark: "Yeah. Sorry Lana but I actually have to get going. Lois won't let me hear the end of it if I get to work a second after curfew."
Lana: "Lois?"
(Clark glanced back at her sensing her tone)
Lana: "Oh right. You and her are..I forgot. You know what I'm going to head out too."
(Lana quickly walked past Clark and left the barn, trying her best to hide the hurt from her eyes)
