Clois: Batman

Time

(The Batmobile burst through the water fall and entered the Bat Cave, within moments Batman got out and carried Clark Kent over to his small infirmary, Lois following right behind him)

(Batman lay him down and began using medical tools to remove the Kryptonite bullet, Clark grimaced in pain as Lois held his face and couldn't hold back her panicked tears)

(Alfred entered and exclaimed as he saw the three of them)

Alfred: "My word. Master Br..um Batman what is going on?"

Batman: "These are some new friends of mine Alfred and right now this one requires medical attention. Would you be so kind as to get Mister Luthor out of the Batmobile and restrain him? He's unconscious in the passenger seat."

Alfred: "Er..yes of course sir. But once I do I am taking over as doctor of that young man immediately. You can barely stitch yourself up without requiring my help how did you expect to do so with that poor lad?"

Batman: "Excuse me Alfred I'm a little busy saving his life to argue about my stitching skills."

Alfred: "Indeed."

(Alfred went over to the Batmobile to retrieve the still unconscious Lex)

Lois: "Who is he your butler?"

Batman: "That doesn't matter. There. Clark will be okay now. The meteor substance is out of his system he'll just need a few hours rest and he should be fine."

Lois: "You're sure?"

Batman: "You don't have to worry Lois. Nothing will happen to him. I promise. By the way how did you and Kent find us at Luthorcorp?"

Lois: "My cousin. She's pretty good with computers. She's basically Clark's tech support sidekick."

Batman: "I know the type."

Lois:"Yeah? And what about mine? How do you know my name?"

Batman: "Both Kent and Luthor called you Lois right in front of me."

Lois: "..right. Well how do I know I can trust you?"

Batman: "Because your boyfriend is the first person I've met who is genuinely good. He can see the good in people even those who'd kill without a moment's hesitation. He wouldn't even let someone as purely evil as The Joker die. Now don't get me wrong Kent was an idiot for taking a lethal hit for Joker of all people and perhaps he could use some proper training but..his selflessness is a quality that is extremely rare. So I know I can trust him just as you can trust me."

Lois: "Wow. Nice speech. You got all that after spending what? 5 minutes with him?"

(Batman smirked) "You'd be surprised what can happen within 5 minutes."

Lois: "Heh heh smooth one buster. Flirting with me while my boyfriend's sleeping right behind us. Real classy."

(Batman just shook his head and walked away)
