I was re-reading my first one shot from the book and thought "what if bakugo was just an asshole 24/7, but suuuuper sweet to his SO" and this is the product of those thoughts
"Katsuki!" I called out, waving to mu wild-haired boyfriend as school let out. We had different classes, so I didn't get to see him much in school. We had lunch at the same time, though, so that was good.
"Babe!" he called back, taking my hand when he got over to me. His class, and everyone else, had sure been surprised when we first started dating.
They never expected anything nice to leave Katsu's mouth, but he was always so kind to me. Izuku, my friend from Katsu's class, said he yelled a lot, and I knew, but I also knew he'd never yell at me.
"We should hang out today," I said. "It's Friday, so we don't have to worry about school tomorrow."
Katsuki nodded, squeezing my hand a bit. "That sounds great," he said, smiling. "Where do you want to go?"
I shook my head. "I picked last time. It's your turn, now."
He smiled sweetly and pulled me closer, having us walk with almost no space between us. I let him keep me close, enjoying how happily he showed off that he was mine.
After a minute of walking, I realized that I had no clue where we were going.
"Babe, where are you taking me?" I asked, looking for any familiar landmarks.
"You'll see when we get there," he assured me, all while smiling almost contentedly. Wherever we were headed, he was excited for it. "I'll give you a hint; It's getting close to Christmas."
Christmas? What could we do for Christmas around this place? I didn't see anywhere that looked too interesting.
Suddenly, we came upon a huge set of gates. Bakugo buzzed an intercom next to them.
"Hello, is that you, Bakugo?" came Momo's voice. Was this grand palace...her home?
"Yeah, it's me and my girlfriend," he told Momo. "You know why we're here."
Momo giggled, then the gates opened, granting us entry into the mansion. I heard a few sets of footsteps, before Izuku appeared beside me, smiling graciously, and I saw Todoroki, Uraraka, and Iida a little bit behind us.
"Hey," he greeted. "It's been a long time."
"How have you been, stranger?" I joked, then cringed a little bit. "God, I sounded like my grandfather."
Even Katsu couldn't keep from laughing at that as we walked up to Momi's huge place.
It felt even bigger on the inside! Everything was so fantastic and expensive! I was scared to look at things for fear of wanting to touch them, thus allowing my clumsy being to break them.
Katsu squeezed my hand as we entered a large hall, whefe his classmates, who I somewhat knew, were waiting for us.
"Welcome to our Christmas party!" Momo greeted, walking up to hug me. "Oh, I haven't seen you in forever!"
"Thanks for letting me in," I said once she finally let me go. "This whole party was a surprise to me."
"Kacchan didn't tell you?" Izuku asked.
"It was meant to be a surprise," Katsu sighed.
"Yeah, but I don't have any Christmas clothes on," I half-jokingly whined.
"Would you like me to make you some?" Momo offered. "Or you could borrow some of my own."
"I'm fine," I replied, sitting at the table beside Iida and across from Jiro. "I'm just glad to be here."
