A sigh escaped my lips as I closed the front door behind me. Tiredly, I removed my shoes and trudged into my home. My keys were placed on the table, right beside my umbrella and a jacket in case of rain.

"Ice cream time," I whispered to myself, patting my belly. "Ah, I've been waiting all day for this!"

I retrieved a giant tub of ice cream, which happened to be my favorite flavor! It had been a gift from Yagi, sudden and unexpected, but definitely appreciated.

"So good," I said around a mouthful of ice cream. "So, so good."

"I'm glad you enjoyed the present," chuckled a voice from the hallway. Out of reflex, I jumped and yelled. Yagi had told me before that I got surprised too easily, and he'd just proved that.

"Yagi!" I shouted happily, setting aside the tub and dashing over to hug him. "You're home, today!"

He laughed again, hugging me back. "Yeah, we cancelled school today," he told me. "Let's just say a kid destroyed the classroom."

I smiled a little. "It must be cool, getting to see all of those neat quirks."

Yagi shrugged, holding me tighter. "Nothing's better than being here, with you."

"You big softie," I muttered, making him pretend to protest, but he knew it, too. Perhaps more than I knew. "Come on, since you're home, we should make the best of our time! We don't get all that much, ya' know?"

I didn't know why I'd said that, but it made us both really sad. How often did we see each other? Every other week? Sometimes once a month?

Hero work and teaching are already hard enough to balance, but adding in his love life? He was probably feeling super stressed, most of the time.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean-"

"Don't worry about it," he said to me, smiling lightly. "You're right - we should use this time to our advantage. What about that new movie you got? The one you were so excited to show me?"

"Ib?" I asked, grinning. "Ah, I can't wait! I've been waiting for you to get home so that we can watch together! This is perfect! Let's get snacks!"

The skinny man allowed his tenacious wife to drag him around the kitchen, putting away her ice cream tub in favor of a small bowl of sweets, ranging from chocolates to suckers to expensive looking candies. She then retrieved a box of chocolate covered strawberries and cherries.

If it wasn't easy enough to see, she had a major sweet tooth. She lived to devour sugar, and Yagi was fine with that. As long as she didn't really overdo it.

"All set!" he heard from his ecstatic wife, who had set up the movie, snacks, and a pile of pillows and blankets. "Movie time!"

"Movie time," he agreed, sitting on the living room couch next to her. Once they'd settled, she pulled the candies closer to them, then began the movie.

The movie was a little bit scary, at least for his wife. There were little scares and creepy looking things, but Yagi didn't feel too afraid of it. It just wasn't realistic, but that was the point, wasn't it? Make a scary movie with things people have never seen before, then you're bound to make a good bit of money and reputation from it.

The snacks were slowly diminishing, and Yagi felt compelled to eat some. He'd never been too muh of a sweet-eater, but he wanted to...he didn't rightly know, but he had his little share in the sweet consuming.

"That was awesome!" came from his wife, who was grinning hugely. "Worth every penny!"

"It was pretty good," Yagi admitted, watching her smile grow bigger. "I'm glad we watched."

"Wanna watch another one?"

Yagi chuckled, then checked the time. "Last one, because we both have work tomorrow."

His wife giggled misheviously. "Time for my favorite!" she said, trailing into the bedroom to retrieve said movie.

Before she could even play the movie, Yagi knew what she was playing. She loved the movie, and she watched it any chance that she got.

"Lady and the Tramp!" they said together when the title screen showed, causing them to laugh a little.

"Ready for it?"

Yagi smiled, pulling his lovely wife closer to him. "Of course I am."

She giggled, then played the movie, bringing a bowl of chocolates into her lap for them to share. Yagi absent-mindedly munched on a few pieces of candy as the movie progressed.

"Let's watch Aristocats next time!" she laughed when the movie ended. "I love the music!"

Her tall husband nodded, then stood. "We should head to bed. We have work tomorrow."

His wife nodded, but seemed a little off in thought. Still, she took his hand and walked with him to their room, where she yawned and made quick work of changing into just a T-shirt. As soon as he saw her moving to change, Yagi kept his back to her and changed, as well.

He got done before her, then laid on his back in the bed. Once finished, his wife crawled onto the bed, curling up against  his side. She reached over, grabbing his hand and pulling their fingers together.

"Hey, babe?" she started. When she heard Yagi turn to her, she steeled herself. "What if I worked at U.A. with you? I know my quirk isn't too special, but I've done some hero stuff before. Do you think I could get in?"

At the mere thought of seeing her at work everyday, Yagi was grinning. "I know you could," he assured her. "In fact, I can speak with the principal tomorrow. He'd hire you on the spot."

The woman beside him laughed a little bit. "You might be over-selling my abilities a little bit."

Yagi shook his head. "I've seen your talent, your abilities, your quirk. I've seen you fight. I know you, and I know you could get in."

"That's sweet of you," she said. "Thank you. I would appreciate it if you would speak to Nezu tomorrow."

"I will."

"Sweet dreams, good night. I love you."

"I love you, too."
