I just...love him so muchhhh
"Oh, you must be All Might's wife," the green-haired boy before me stuttered. "I'm Izuku Midoriya, the one he's training to use One For All."
I smiled at the boy. "Come on in. Yagi's preparing for training, so he should be down soon."
Cautiously, perhaps nervously, he stepped into my home. Once he caught the smell of food, he seemed to make a beeline for my living room, plopping onto my couch and giving the fresh baked goods a hearty stare.
"You can take as much as you like," I told him, causing him to snap back into reality. "I made those for you, as soon as Yagi told me you were coming. I'll make some more when you're done training, so eat as much as you like."
"Thank you, ma'am!" he said graciously, before diving into the food. After a few minutes, I brought in some tea, which he gratefully accepted.
"That was amazing," he told me, patting his stomach that now had some food in it. "Did you make all of that from scratch?"
I nodded, and his smile widened. "Then you're a really good cook."
Before I could reply, my husband was heard padding downstairs. By the sound, I could tell he was in his Hero form, ready to train for today.
"Good afternoon, young Midoriya," he greeted, that ever-present smile growing at the sight of the child. "I do hope you're prepared to train."
Midoriya nodded, standing up and stretching. "I sure am!"
"Head out through the backdoor. I have a few more things to gather before we can begin."
I pointed the confused boy to the short hallway that lead to a door, which took him into the backyard.
As soon as he was out of range, Yagi poof-ed back into his normal form, sighing and wrapping his arms around my waist.
"What's wrong?" I asked, returning the small hug.
"Tired," he admitted, smiling a little. "Work's been kinda tough with working as a Hero and a teacher, especially now that Villains are getting bolder."
"Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you," I stated, and he shook his head.
"I see where you're goig with this," he said, sounding a bit down.
"I'm just saying, it might help if I was out there, fighting beside you. No one would have to know who I am."
Yagi shook his head. "I don't want you getting hurt," he told me, moving a hand from my waist to my face. "I know you can fight, but I still worry."
"And you don't think I worry about you?" I returned, silencing him. "With that wound, you going into a fight could end badly any second! You don't think that is worrying for me?"
Yagi sighed, rubbing a thumb over my cheek. "We can talk more once I'm done training Midoriya," he said. "Once he's home, we can discuss this more."
"Hey," I said, stopping him before he could leave. Without giving him a moment, I pressed a short, sweet kiss to his lips. "Do great out there."
He smiled a little, then headed toward the backyard, where his apprentice was waiting.
I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself, but a couple tears slipped. Damn. Why couldn't he just see where I came from? It would make his job so much easier, wouldn't it?
I didn't have a lot of time to dwell on those thoughts. Instead, I walked into my kitchen, wiped my face with a rag, then got to work on dinner for the boys.
Dinner for the boys? Almost felt like I was making food for a family. With kids.
Oh, fuck. I knew where those thoughts were going.
Why now, of all times, did I have to be thinking about a family? How would I convince Yagi to let me fight if I wanted us to settle down?
What did I want? Family? Fighting?
I wanted to be a Hero, for sure. That way, I could protect people and keep the general public out of harm's way.

About five hours later, the two were finally done with all their training. They came inside looking beat up, even Yagi. I could only assume they'd done a little combat training.
Shaking my head, I carried a few plates of food into the living room, placing them on the table.
"Oh, let me help," Midoriya offered, stepping into the kitchen and grabbing the last few plates. "There." He carefully sat them on the table, before sitting next to Yagi and across from me.
"What do you think?" I asked as the two wolfed down all the food.
"Amazing!" Midoriya said, like before.
"Perfect, as always," Yagi added, smiling at me.
I grinned at the boys. "Glad you like it! I made dessert, too! I hope you like chocolate cake!"
Of course, both of the boys devoured their food in minutes flat. I took my time, watching closely as they playfully bantered about their training. Something about 'could have punched quicker' and 'should I use ten percent instead of five?' Stuff I didn't quite understand.
Eventually, it was time for Midoriya to leave. We waved him off as he set trail toward his home.
With him gone, the tension in the house thickened. Neither of us had forgotten about our talk from earlier. We knew we'd have to confront each other.
Surprisingly, it was Yagi who intitiated the conversation. I had been watching a movie on the couch, when he suddenly slipped onto the couch beside me, pausing the movie and having me turn toward him.
"About what we said earlier," he began, rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm sorry if something I said hurt you. That wasn't my intention, I swear."
"I know," I responded, moving to sit closer to him on the couch. He put an arm around my waist, and his free hand grabbed my own. I leaned my head against his shoulder while he rubbed my back gently. "You didn't hurt me. I just...can't sit by idly while you're out there, risking your life for everyone."
"I'm not fighting for everyone," he said, voice all seriousness. "Sure, I'm a Hero for the people, but that doesn't mean anything to me. I wake up in the morning and punch bad guys so that you can be safe. I go out there and fight for you, so that I know I can come home and see you here, smiling and nagging me for being late or for ruining another suit. So that I can come back to my beautiful loving wife and hold her."
His words brought tears into my eyes. I didn't know why; There was nothing I didn't really expect him to say, so why was I crying?
Yagi continued after wiping the tears off of my cheeks, even though they were quickly replaced. "I want you to be safe. Why should I be a Hero if I can't protect the person I love most in the world?"
My lip trembled, and I couldn't stop the tears from falling quicker.
"No need to cry," he cooed, pulling me closer.
"I just...love you so much that I can't contain it," I giggled, sniffing a little bit. "I-I don't even know why I'm crying. I just am."
Yagi patted the top of my head. "I'm sorry I made you cry, but please understand what I'm saying. Please, tell me you won't be a Hero."
"On one condition."
"What is it?"
I pulled back in his arms a little, meeting his eyes directly.
"If I'm staying here, I want a kid. I want to start a family with you."
The look on his face would have been laughable if I wasn't completely serious about my proposal. Still, he caught himself in an instant, smiling at me.
His hands gripped my waist, pulling me close while he leaned in to whisper to me. The act caused a smile to grow on my face, knowing that he would agree.
"We can get started on that right now."
