Chapter 6

Today is Wednesday which meant my first time doing community hours. My school had gave us a list of places we could go to. I had decided to go to the elderly house which it was just playing games with old people and getting to hear stories when they were young that couls either be truth or just made up. And then the next hearing some of them again, old people forget about what they had already told you before.

I feel like old people are the most open people they just say what they think. They had to pretend their whole life and now they have the excuse of being old and saying whatever they want.

"So what are you choosing?" Louis asked me.

"I will go with the old people thing." I said.

"Thats what I was thinking too." he said. What a liar he just wants to go with me. So we went to sign up.

"Hey Allie! What did you pick?" I asked her when I finally found her.

"Helping at the lublic library. Its so close to my house so that was the main reason. And you?" she said.

"The elderly home. Guess who also choose that?"

"Oh my god Louis?" she said laughing I just nodded.

After explaining what we had to do and which days we got dismissed to our classes. Oh I have History... Kill me now.

"Mom I need you to take me to the elderly home." I told her when I found her watching t.v.

"Why is that?" she said.

"Community hours. And I have to be there in 30 minutes."

"Okay go change I will take you." she said.

When I got there I found a group of my school and they were actually three people and then Louis came making us five people.

"Okay guys I am Julie and I am the nurse in charge and I will tell you what you have to do..." she then went on telling us what we had to do. I was supposed to be in charge of playing games and Louis too. Then the other guys there was this girl that could sing so thats what she was going to do and also listen and talk with them. And then two left were good at drawing so they got to show how to draw to the old people and even paint them if they wanted.

"Oh we are so talented! We are soo good at playing boardgames I feel like this is my passion." Louis said which made me laugh. I was laughing loud that the old people heard.

"Oh finally some young people around here!" a old woman said.

"This is Marilyn." Julie told us and we all said hi. "So now we will gather everyone so they can meet you and you can meet them."

We were in a room which had a stage in the far end and chairs and then Julie presented us. They were all haply to get to know us tbat Julie had to tell them to be quiet. I got a feeling this will be good.

After geeting to meet everyone it was time to leave. And just thenI remembered I never told mom at what time to come for me.

"Do you need a ride?" Louis asked. I thought about it but I went with a yes because if not I will have to wait for my mom to come for me and she will take long. Plus he literally lives beside me.

We went to his car and I played music. I had actually saved the radio stations in his car. I looked at him as he drives and I just got to into it. He has his brown wavy hair and his dark blue eyes, he had a bit of a dimple bjt not completely in his right cheek. He also had a beard forming but not too long.

"Do you like what you see?" he asked and laughed which made me turn red good thing he was focused on the road and not at my red cheeks.

"I wasn't looking at you!" I said but even I could hear that was a lie. But he just let it slip.
