Chapter 10

I went downstairs since I had to leave for school, and as I was getting what I needed for breakfast I found a divorce letter or whatever it's called. I hate this. Should I throw this in the trash? Will mom be mad? Okay never mind...

I took a look at it and wish I didn't I saw notes I think mom had made with a lawyer that were saying I will see dad just certain days not whenever I wanted. That's unfair for me and him, why is mom this bad.

She came down wearing her work clothes.

"What are you doing with that?"

"Why didn't you tell me??" I said angry.

"Honey, I was going to tell you but I haven't had the time. "

"That's not true. You saw me yesterday we even talked for a while mom."

"Okay calm down. It isn't even your business's to start with."

"It is since it says when can I see dad." I said and just then her phone started ringing, which I bet is my aunt calling.

"I have to take this. We will talk later now go to school."

I said nothing and leave the house. I have to walk to the bus stop since I don't have a car and also Louis can't give me rides since he has to get to school earlier than the time I wake up.

When I got there I texted Allie and she came to my locker. Usually at around this time Louis finishes with his things he does and comes over to my locker too.

"Hey girls. "

"Hey." We both said at the same time and laugh because of it.

"What are you doing for halloween?" Allie asked Louis.

"Well there is a party I got invited to it is actually at Liam's house."

"Oh yeah, he was telling me about it. He said I could go and you could go too Hannah."

"Oh thanks for telling me earlier." I said

"Then will you two go?" Louis asked

"If you go I go." Allie said.

"Okay I'll go."

Saturday came and it was Halloween the party was supposed to start at 8pm.

"Hey sweetie." Mom said smiling as I came downstairs to eat breakfast.

"So... I kind of sign you up to take the neighborhood kids trick or treating."

"Mom I cant and I dont want to eiter.

"When you were that same age there were persons that will take you this is the least you can do." It is not that I hate kids I mean I like to be around kids and stuff, even I was an only child so. But being around too many kids and having to babysit them no thank you.

"Mom I have a party I am going to."

"Well if you don't do these there wont be a party you are going to."

"Thats so mean!!" I screamed.

"Well is your choice. Plus your party is at 8 and the kids you are taking them at 6." She said. I didn't say anything although I will have to do it. So I left to go to my room and was gonna call Louis but I saw him in his room.

"Louis!!" I yelled.

"What??" He said scared since I kind of woke him up.
