Chapter 16

Finally Christmas break!! So today is Saturday and I was just waking up at 12pm to do my brunch. As I ate I saw there was this magicians coming near us. I love magic, I'm not sure if its called magic but I have seen both Now you see me movies. I love it.

So I asked mom if I could go.

"Its fine by me, if you pay for it and also find someone to go with because you know how I feel about magic." She says from the sofa.

About two years ago my dad took us to this magic show and they did a trick with mom. The only thing I can say is she is scared of magicians.

I thought of asking Allie but I forgot she isn't here. So I text Louis to come outside his house.

"What up?" He asks when he comes to my porch.

"What do you think of magic? Magicians?" I asked him.

"Oh no. Not my thing, I don't believe in that crap." He says.

"Okay then I will have to invite Lucas to come with me to the magic show then." I said. He frowns.

"You know what? I could give them a chance, they can't be that bad." He says and I laughed. What is wrong with him not letting me do anything alone with Lucas. Is he acting as a protective big brother or what?

"I am still inviting him though." I said and laughed when I saw his face.

"Is your family coming for christmas?" I asked him referring to her mom and sisters.

"They are actually, the girls are so excited. They say they can't wait for a sunny christmas after all back home it always snowed by those days."

"That's awesome, I hope I can get to know them better. When are they coming?"

"In one week and a half." When they continued talking until mom call me to go eat dinner. Wait was it actually dinner time already how did time go this fast.

"Louis will you like to eat with us too?" Mom asked and of course he said yes. And texted someone on his phone.

"So I guess you are the lucky man to get to go with her to the magic show." Mom said sarcastically.

"You are not funny mom." I said serious while Louis laughed quietly.

It was funny how in front of my mom he turned to a respectful and educated man but with me he just doesn't try. I looked at him while he told mom his family was coming over. I am not sure if I ever told you what he looks like. Well he for starters has dimples!! I know! They are my favorites. Then he has dirty blonde hair, blue eyes and he was about one head more than me. He has also a little tan since he says he loves the beach.

I mean of course he had to be cute and also sweet, if not I wouldn't have broken my promise to never fall in love.

"Hannah? I asked you something." Mom says.

"Yeah I know." Of course I don't. "What do you want?"

"When is the last day of this year you are going to Gleenbrooke. Louis isn't sure about the date."

"Actually Wednesday was our last day. But I think I might go visit them near christmas day."

"Oh yes? And who exactly is going to take you there?" Mom asks, I feel like she is acting different this days.

"I can take you, I want to go too. Just tell me when." Louis asked trying to eased the moment.

"Thank you Louis, at least someone has a Christmas spirit around here."

"Okay I think I am done here. I'll go wash dishes." Mom says standing up.

I stand up and took Louis to my room. As if he has never been here.
