Chapter 22

"Hannah. Hi!" Allie says at lunch the next day. Today it was just us Louis sits with his friends on Thursdays and Lucas said he had detention. Which is good cause I needed to talk with Allie alone.

"Hey. You want cookies?" I ask her taking my lunch out of my bag.

"Yeah. So tell me did you confront Louis about the you know what." She says I knew she was going to ask.

"Well.."

"Hannah! Why didn't you??" She asks shocked. What did she really thought I was going to? I will look like a freak getting jealous over probably nothing and we are just friends so.

"Because." I say. "Ok so what happened was that after school we were supposed to go home but he took me to the beach. And then tried to get me to say why I was acting so weird. But I chickened out and didn't tell him. Plus this other guy that knows Louis interrupted me and so I couldn't tell him."

"Hannah. Omg you two could have been together already if it wasn't for him being too scared and you being prideful about your no dating rule or whatever." She says like this stresses her out.

"Ok I will do it today."

"Seriously??" She says cause with me you never know. I could say something and next minute I change what I said.

"I think so."

"Good."

Lunch went by quickly and the rest of the day went fast too. I was walking to the parking lot to Louis' car.

I got there and to my surprise I see the girl that was at his house the other day next to him. They were talking. I was thinking of turning around and probably could see if the bus hasn't left or maybe Allie hasn't left either and I could ride with her.

But I know I have to face my problems.

"Hey." I say when I was by them.

"Hey Hannah. This is Megan."

"Hi! Nice to meet you." She says smiling but I don't smile I don't like her so.

"Hi." I say and then look at Louis and he looks puzzled.

"Right. So Megan is in my Spanish class and she is tutoring me Tuesday and Thursday." He says and right then it all makes sense. She was at his house Tuesday and she was just his tutor. That was a relief.

"You all wanna go now?" He says unlocking the car. Megan was close to the passenger seat and I was wondering what she would do. But he looks at Louis and then opens the door for the back of the car. Good for her. I go in and we leave school.

I got out of the car and go to my house quickly. I go up to my room and I do the most unexpected thing I would of never done a year ago. I go to my desk and discretely see if they go into his room or if they stay downstairs. And they do they stay downstairs. After seeing how stupid I look and how I was acting I turn my tv on and start doing homework.

I go to Disney and play spongebob. I then I remember that I didn't let Kira out to the yard when I got here. So I go do that, when I opened the glass door Kira comes running out the door.

I play catch with her, she is growing fast. When we went back inside I gave her a cookie and then looked for something to eat.

"So? Did you tell him?" Allie says from the phone. She called to find out about it.

"No. But because he has a Spanish tutor. And you won't believe who it is. Guess."

"Who is it?"

"I told you to guess." I say laughing since I know she really wants to know and I want to keep her waiting.
