"We've been spending a lot of time looking for you, you know. Little Miss Y/N- Min Claire's precious granddaughter. We found your mom but something stopped us from getting to her alive. I wonder who it could have been. I bet you know. What I really want to know though is this: where are your freaky buddies?" A grumbling voice fills the silent room as you slowly come to. You gradually open your eyes and squint against a harsh white light before struggling in your seat to find you were bound to it. The man stood before you turns a small control box over in his hand a couple of times before sighing deeply.
"Who are you? Where's Taehyung?" You spit out hoarsely at the man who chuckles and shakes his head. You frown deeply at him as you watch him grip the box firmly and hover his finger over the button before slamming it down roughly. A horrific electric shock corses through your body from certain points that causes a loud scream to rise from your throat.
"Wrong answer. Now you will either answer correctly or have that little present again." The man explains slowly over the sound of the electric and your screams. He lifts his finger from the button and you heave in a huge instantly before slumping forwards.
"Bite me, bitch. I don't care what you want from me." You growl as you slowly look up at him through your hair. He chuckles psychotically before pressing the damned button once more, commanding the horrific pain to fill you once again. However, this time you don't scream. You close your eyes tight, clench your fists and your jaw and hold your breath. The shocks ran through your bones and your blood and you could feel it charging your powers.
"Shall we try again? Where are your buddies?" The man growls as he lifts his finger from the button. You let out a long shaky breath and clear your mind as he taps his foot impatiently. "You don't learn, do you? You'll only keep getting-" The man started on you once more before his voice suddenly stopped and a disgusting, wet explosion sound filled the room, closely followed by a deep thud. You slowly open your eyes to see the man's body on the floor- headless.
"Bite. Me." You breathe out slowly as you wriggle in your binds to get yourself free. Gradually, you manage to escape the ropes and leap out of the chair over the body before you. "I'm coming Tae, wherever you are." You whisper to yourself as you grab the keycard from the man and rush over to the door. You let out a deep sigh before sliding the keycard in the scanner and running out into the hall.
"We can't get anywhere near him. Anyone who goes near his cell doesn't come back and if they somehow do, they said that every person who hasn't come back is dead." A faint male voice growls hurriedly somewhere down the hall from you. You silently move towards the voices and listen carefully for where he could be.
"But that's impossible! That cell makes it so he can't use those freakish demon powers of his." Another man exclaims back at the first who grunts deeply. You tiptoe towards the voices as they grow closer before you pause on the spot. Footsteps shuffle up ahead which make you stop dead on the spot but you quickly continue when you realise they are moving away from you.
"That's the thing- he isn't using his powers. He's getting them inside the cell and killing them with his bare hands. That's what one of the men told me." The first man explains quickly as they walk away from you. You silently follow, hoping they were leading you to Taehyung and prepare yourself for being discovered.
"I don't believe that. Get me to his cell and I will see for myself. Oh, and don't let word of this get out to the boss or we are all fucked." The second man mumbles quickly before slapping the second on the back who quickly runs down the hall towards you. You quickly push yourself up against the wall and hold your breath, praying to turn invisible. The man dashes straight past you and down the hall, just like you hoped.
You quickly move down the hall, following he sounds of the second man and keep your invisibility up. The electric shocks ran straight through your blood and granted you a new level of control you didn't have before and a huge adrenaline boost. There's a moment of silence before the sound of a heavy metal door echoes down the hall towards you. You pause momentarily to listen before moving as quickly and silently as you could down the hall towards where the door had just echoed closed.
"Get off me! Help!" The second man suddenly screams out before silence fills the area once again. You follow the echoes of the scream and finally come across a large, white metal door. Reluctantly, you release your invisibility and slide the keycard into the scanner before slowly tugging open the door. The first thing you see is the man on the floor with his head bent at an odd angle, his neck clearly snapped.
Suddenly, a strong hand grabs your throat and yanks you into the room before slamming you against the door. You groan as you look up into Taehyung's eyes and watch as his face instantly softens and he lets go of you. You smile softly at him as he pulls you into a deep hug and begins to sob.
"Y/N... I killed so many people to get to you." Taehyung cries into your neck as he clings tightly onto you. You nod understandingly and gently pet his hair as you glance around the room at the dozen scattered bodies before your eyes settle on something else. You didn't understand how it had happened but somehow, proudly protruding from Taehyung's back were two large, beautiful raven wings.
