"Tae, what happened? I thought you lost your wings." You ask slowly as Taehyung continues to sob softly in your arms. He sniffles and wraps his arms around you tighter as you sigh and gradually stop stroking his head. "I thought they were bad for you. That's why Yoongi and Jungkook cut them off, isn't it?" You continue softly as you reluctantly reach out and stroke the spine of one of his wings.
"They protected me from those men. I don't know how they grew back but I woke up and they were there." Taehyung explains quickly, his voice muffled by your neck as he hides his face deeper into you. You gently put your hands on his shoulders and push him back slightly, surprising him a little. "Can't I hold you for a little longer?" Taehyung frowns deeply as he crosses his arms in front of his chest.
"Just wait until we are back home. Do you know how you made the portal? Were you thinking about anything at the time?" You ask quickly as you turn around and use the keycard to open the door before grabbing Taehyung's hand and leading him out into the silent hall. You glance back at him and put a finger to your lips as you creep ahead of him towards your cell.
"I thought about a day with the boys." Taehyung whispers into your ear quickly before letting go of your hand. You nod and move quickly down the hall, listening out for any people or sounds as you did so. Taehyung stayed closely behind you with his large wings tucked as far in as he could get them without wrapping something around them.
Once you reach the cell, you quickly swipe the keycard and pull Taehyung into the room before smashing the card reader on the inside and locking you two in. You let out a small sigh of relief as Taehyung sits down on the floor and hums slightly.
"Can you do the portal or do I have to?" You ask Taehyung softly as you crouch down to him and frown. Taehyung looks up at you quickly and smiles a big smirk before planting a deep kiss on your lips. As he kisses you, you feel the ground go from beneath you and a strong wind suddenly engulf the both of you. He wraps his arms around you quickly before breaking the kiss and holding you tighter.
"We don't need a portal, babe." Taehyung whispers jokingly into your ear before you hear the sound of his powerful wings flap once and you feel yourself jolt up in his arms. Slowly, you pry your eyes open and see dark clouds above you that seemed like they were going to burst at any moment. "Don't look down." Taehyung smirks into your ear once more as he flaps his wings again and you go soaring downwards. You reluctantly look down as you began to glide and saw the town you live in beneath you- far beneath.
"Taehyung, I swear to god if you let go of me, I will kill you." You squeak out as you wrap your arms around his neck and squeeze your eyes shut. You hear him chuckle deeply before he holds you a little tighter and nods. "Just don't drop me please. I'm begging you." You whine as you hold onto him a little tighter.
"You're begging me? I like that. So what would happen if I just..." Taehyung trails off slowly with a large grin before removing his arms from around you. You scream as you let go of his neck from the sudden movement and quickly begin to plummet towards the ground. "One, two, three." Taehyung counts to himself before he dives down in the air, faster then you were falling and grabs you.
"I said not to drop me! I hate you, Kim Taehyung! Take me home right now!" You yell at him as you finally manage to pry your eyes open to see Taehyung's bright, boxy smile. He chuckles deeply and nods as he holds you bridal style before swerving down towards the ground again.

"Wait, so you're telling us that you and Taehyung are some super powerful demon thingy that could set out on world destruction at any moment?" Jin repeats back what Jimin said and he nods slowly in return. "I need a drink." Jin grumbles as he rubs his temple and shuffles off to the kitchen, leaving everyone in silence.
"There's three ways we can keep control though- cut off our wings, restrain our wings or be in love with someone. It sounds pretty stupid but that's what works." Jimin explains to Namjoon who was still trying to cypher though all of what he had been told. Yoongi lets out a long sigh before leaving the room to join Jin in drinking which now only left Jimin, Jungkook, Hoseok and Namjoon.
"So, Taehyung will be completely fine then because he's done two of those things." Jungkook points out as he leans against the wall and crosses his arms. Jimin sends him a quick sympathetic glance before humming a 'yes'.
"Well, as long as he turns up soon, I don't care if he-" Namjoon starts but is cut off by a knock at the door. The four boys exchange confused glances as Jin and Yoongi make their way from the kitchen before looking at the door again. "I'll get it." Namjoon mumbles softly as he glides towards the door and slowly pulls it open, his jaw dropping as he did so.
"Hi guys." Taehyung greets them all deeply as he stands in the doorway, holding hands with you and one wing wrapped around your shoulder. Namjoon blinks slowly as he looks between your wild hair and Taehyung's wing before stepping back to let you in. "We flew here." Taehyung quickly adds as he registers everyone's confused looks and steps inside, tucking his wings in as he did so. You quickly follow him inside and Namjoon closes the door behind you as everyone stood in complete silence.
"Where have you been?" Jin hisses with his glass of whiskey still in his hand. Taehyung lets out a long sigh and glances back at you but you just shrug in return.
"The beach. We went to the beach." Taehyung lies effortlessly.
