You groan loudly as a sudden pain strikes your head and brings you back to consciousness. Slowly, you open your heavy eyes and blink slowly as the familiar bedroom ceiling greets you. A small snore to the side of you makes you jump and causes your head to start spinning again while you huff and slowly turn to look at the source of the sound. Jungkook was leaning on the edge of your bed with his head rested on crossed arms, snoring lightly.

"Hi, Jungkook." You grumble softly, your voice weak and almost none existent while your dry throat tightened painfully. Jungkook softly stirred from his sleep and let out a light yawn as he sat up and scanned your face. He smiles softly before his eyes drop to your neck and his smile fades just as quickly.

"Damn, you're all bruised up. I wonder if I could heal it for you." Jungkook mumbles softly as he rubs his eyes before rolling up his sleeves and smiling. "May I?" He offers lightly as he holds his hands out towards you, pausing before touching you.

"Oh, yeah. Sure. I guess it must be bad if you need to heal me." You nod slowly, closing your eyes as your head starts to spin again. Jungkook's smile drops for a moment as he watches the mask of pain flood through your face before he reluctantly reached out and placed his soft hands either side of your bruised neck.

"Taehyung should be fine now- I think Jimin-ssi managed to get through to him and convinced him to get on the brace that Namjoon Hyung made the other night." Jungkook explains softly as a warm feeling spreads around the skin of your neck and slowly heals the damaged skin.

"Does he feel bad?" You ask softly as your eyes make their way to meet Jungkook's and he smiles again. The warm sensation increased for a moment before going back to the original temperature as Jungkook looked down at the ground momentarily.

"I think so. I imagine he will come apologise soon but we still don't really know what got into him. Jimin says it wasn't the moon and it probably was his wings but obviously, that's something we can't deal with until he's got this brace on." Jungkook mutters softly as he examines your neck before pulling his hands away and grinning softly again. "All fixed. I'll go see wether Taehyung is ready to see you and you can go shower up or something." He continued as he leans forward and gently kisses your forehead before departing without another word.

"I hope he's okay now.." You whisper to yourself as you slowly slip out of bed and wander towards the bathroom. As you begin to run the shower, a thought comes to mind that confuses you- Jungkook said that Namjoon had built the brace the other night. He was out building it the night that Taehyung snapped, so had you been asleep for a couple of days? The thought escapes your mind as you step under the steaming water and let out a sigh of relief.

"Y/N?" A familiar deep voice enters your room as you sit by the window, brushing your half-wet hair. You sigh softly as you glance in the mirror and see a shirtless Taehyung standing sheepishly in the doorway with a guilty expression before you hum lightly in response to him. He shifts slightly in the doorway, unsure of what to do before he steps in and carefully closes the door. As he turns his back to you, you examine the thick bonds of leather and steel that held his dark wings to his back and clasped around his shoulders and stomach.

"Jungkook already explained to me so you don't have to say-"

"No. That wasn't the whole truth. Can you just- can you come here for a second. Please?" Taehyung mutters softly as he keeps his eyes on the ground and stops halfway into the room. You gently place the brush down before moving from your seat towards him, cautiously. He looked up momentarily before gently grabbing your shoulders and pulling you into a hug, breathing deeply as he wrapped his large arms around your smaller frame.

"What do you mean, Tae? How could that not be the truth?" You ask softly as you gradually wrap your arms around his slender waist and allow yourself to loosen up in his arms. Taehyung breathes in deeply before he slowly pulls his arms from around you and wraps his massive hands around yours, interlocking your fingers as he finally looks you in the eyes.

"When we were taken and being transported to the place, they injected me with something because I was awake. I don't know what it was but I can't control myself because of it. I don't know if having my wings like this will help me now but it made me get them back and that just messed my head up." Taehyung explains slowly as he massages the back of your hand and looks deeply into your eyes. Your heart slowly swells up with emotion as you look into his beautiful brown eyes before you grab his waist and hug him tightly again.

"We can get through this, Tae. I'll help you get better." You mutter as you hold onto him tightly, a sudden wave of emotion rushing over you. Taehyung chuckles softly as he plants one hand on your back and gently strokes your hair with the other.

"As long as I have you, I'll be okay." He smiles softly as he bends down to give you a light kiss on the head, his soft blonde hair shifting over his eyes as he did so. "Hey, how would you like to go out? I'm sure that one day out wouldn't hurt us." Taehyung offers as he gently slips his hand under your chin and lifts your head up so he could look at you.

"Last time you said that we went to the beach, got kidnapped, you got your wings back, we murdered people and then lied to the boys about the entire thing." You laugh softly as you scan his stunning face and feel an uncontrollable grin spread across your face. There was no way you'd ever be able to stay mad at him- even if he did try to kill you.

"It'll be fiiiine~" Taehyung sings as he pecks your lips quickly with a big boxy grin and grabs you by the waist. You roll your eyes at him before nodding and kissing him back with a smile. "I think we should go shopping." He grins as he lets go of you and moves towards his wardrobe to grab a shirt big enough to cover his wings, smiling the entire time.

"Great idea."
