I lean over onto the railing holding my stomach. It feels like I just got a brick thrown at my stomach.

I slide down on to the stairs and pull my knees up to my stomach cringing.

"What is happening?" I whisper to myself as tears prick my eyes.

"Betrayed."

I hear, but the thing is I didn't hear anything. It was like it just popped into my head.

"Betrayed."

Again and my stomach goes through another wave of pain.

"Ow!" I cry out.

"Stay away from him."

Was the last thing I heard before my stomach pains stops. Just like that, flip of the switch, snap of the fingers.

"What the Hell?" I say.

I lean back on to the wall and close my eyes.

Stay away from who? Jett? Seth?

What was that voice, who was that voice? I know I've heard it before but I can't place my finger on it.

I grab on the railing and pull myself up and walk up the stairs to my floor.

I walk down the hallway, our apartment is at the very end of the hall.

Then the lights flicker, sending goosebumps down my arms.

They flicker and flicker as I walk down the hall. I speed walk until I reach my door and as put my key in the lock I look to the other end of the hall and see a black shadow. It doesn't move but it looks like a man. No features at all and it's a solid figure but transparent at the same time.

I hurriedly unlocked the door and slammed it shut and locked it again.

"Willow!!" I screech.

"What?" she runs out.

"There's a man down the hallway just standing there staring at me!" I say dragging her arm to the door.

She unlocks it and looks down the hall.....nothing.

"Ok, you got me, haha. But seriously did you have to prank a girl in the middle of a show?" she says looking back at me.

"I'm serious he was right down there!"

"Right, I think somebody needs to get to bed, it's late as it is come on." she says taking my arm and leading me to my room.

Maybe she's right...I am sleepy.

I change into my pajamas and lay down.

But why did my stomach start to hurt so much? Was that man the cause of it? Was he the one speaking to me? Or was I imagining everything and my stomach hurting was just a fluke?

Before I can make anymore sense of things I drift off to sleep.

The next morning I wake up in a cold sweat. I don't even remember having a nightmare but I know I did.

I go into the shower and make the water just above freezing to refresh myself.

After throwing on my purple robe I walk into the kitchen and pour myself some coffee, Willow already set it so it's ready in the morning. Technology fascinates me.

"Morning." she sluggishly says grabbing some coffee.

"Morning." I say spacing out.

"How'd you sleep." she asks.

Terrible

"Good."

"That's good."

She grabs the newspaper from the little pouch beside the door in the hall.

We sit in silence as she reads the paper.

Soon we hear police sirens right outside.

We both look at each other and run to the window. Police cars and a ambulance pull in front of the apartment parking block.

"What's going on?" She asks.

I shrug my shoulders.

Rapid knocking is heard on our door and I look at her in fear.

She runs to the door as I lean on the counter.

"It's Seth." she lets out a relieved sigh and let's him in after looking through the peep hole.

He runs in.

"Guys there's police coming up the stairs." he says.

"What?!" Willow and I say at the same time.

"How do you know?" I ask.

" I was in the lobby and the manager said they needed to come up to our floor, specifically the room at the very end of the hall, the one across from the stairs." he says.

"Why?" Willow asks.

I think about last night, that shadow man was next to the room at the end of the hall. What if that's where he disappeared to when Willow went to go check?

"I don't know! They started walking up so I had to run before they caught me easdropping." he said.

We walk out into the hallway and look down the hall. Police men break into the apartment and run inside.

"Willow freeze them." I whisper.

"Wait until all of them go inside, if someone walks up and sees people frozen it would be a bit hard to explain."

After a couple of seconds all the policemen go inside and Willow runs down the hall and opens the door and moves her arms out towards them. Then she motions us down to her.

Seth and I run to her and look inside.

The living room of the apartment looks like any other apartment would. A couch, small clutter on the floor, a tv that is showing the morning news....But the only thing this apartment has, that any normal one wouldn't, is a dead girl on the floor.

A blood pool surrounds her, surely ruining the white carpet for good. But she looks peaceful, both her eyes are closed, her blonde hair sprawled out under her head. If the knife stabbed into her chest wasn't there she would be mistakenly sleeping.

But the thing is, this girl isn't just any girl, in fact, this girl isn't human. The blonde haired girl that lays dead in front of us is...........Silvia.
