P.O.V. Yoongi.
I walk into the bookstore, holding two cups of coffee."Hell- Oh, hey Yoongs." Namjoon says. I smile and hand him the coffee.
"I'm here to ask you a favor." I say. He takes a sip of the coffee.
"Sure, go ahead." He says.
"Can you, maybe, help me find an engagement ring?" I ask. He smiles.
"Of course, my shift ends in 30 minutes, if you wait we'll head into town." He says. I smile.
"Thank you Joon." I say. He smiles and turns back to his work. I sit down on the small couch and scroll trough my phone.
"Alright, let's go." Joon says. We get up and walk towards town. We walk into one of the shops and I look around. I suddenly start to doubt my choices.
"Yoongs, you okay?" Joon asks.
"Am I being selfish?" I ask as I look at the rings, keeping my tears in.
"What?" He asks. I take a deep breath.
"I'm gonna die soon Joon, it's selfish of me to even still be with Hobi. I-" He cuts me off.
"No, don't think like that Yoongi. You made Hobi's life so much better. I've never seen him as happy as he is with you, you make him happy." He says. I look up at him.
"If you ask him to marry you I am sure he'll he more than happy to. He really loves you Yoon. He loves you so much that he wants to squeeze a whole lifetime in those 2 years, just to be happy, with you." He says. I blink away my tears.
"And it's not selfish of you, to try and find happiness." He says. I nod.
"Y-yeah, you're right." I say.
"Can I help you boys?" A worker asks. I wipe my tears that escaped even though I didn't want to.
"My friend is looking for an engagement ring." Namjoon says, a small smile playing on his face. I nod.
"Yeah." I say.
"Lovely! Boy, girl or gender neutral?" She asks sweetly. ('Cuz we ain't disrespecting in my christian minecraft server.)
"A boy." I say with a smile, thinking of Hobi. She smiles.
"Alright." She says.
"If you sit down here I'll get the rings." She says with a smile. After about an hour we walk out.
"Do you really think he'll like it?" I ask nervously.
"It's like it's made for him." Joon says as we walk towards his house.
"So, when will you?" He asks. I shrug.
"I don't know yet, when the time is right." I say. He smiles.
"Good luck Yoongs." He says. I smile.
"Thank you." I say before continuing my way home. I sigh as I walk to my room and lay down on my bed. I grab the small box and look at the ring.
"It's perfect." I whisper. I put it away and fall asleep.
