It was quiet in the room when everyone was once more but this time peacefully gathered .
I was sitting on the couch leaning back and just relaxing my muscles. I could bearly manage to move without aching on some places.
Baekhyun had put some cream on the bruises on my back and left leg from being thrown around like a rag doll.
And put a selfmade brace over my wrist, I couldn't realy move it too much. But he said at least it wasn't fully broken but cracked
But at least our baby was fine.
I looked back up to see jongin having his eyes all me the whole time .he looked sincere not staring just looking to keep me in sight, I could see how he carved to sit beside me but he was busy letting baekhyun treat the wounds on his arm .
,, about .. getting you shot " he suddenly said after he noticed I had also slightly glanced at baekhyun shoulder. Remembering that he had taken the shot for jongin ,, sorry .. "
,, it was not you who shot the bullet" baekhyun simply answered looking up at him confused for a second .
,, yeah I know .. but Kris is part of my pack, he's my responsibility I shouldn't have let this happened . I've sunken way too far " jongin explained blinking hesistant at me before looking to the ground. Obviously meaning the incident of my old dead body.
Baekhyun turned his head shooting chanyeol a knowing glance as if he had won a bet or had been right about something. Chanyeol only rolled his eyes tho stepping closer and sitting down besides jongin .
,, just because you've earned the alpha position doesn't mean you have to be a flawless one.. we all have our moments, Kris just knew when yours was. Its ok jongin " he pattened him on the back and I smiled a little at them seeing how it helped jongin made me feel glad that chanyeol still had this effect on him . Ì guess he wasn't the kind of person to comfort someone so it was nice to see him do .
But since jongin had already mentioned it and I couldn't help but rethink of everything that happened . It brought goosebombs all over my skin just thinking of the pain and fear I went through .
,, can I see it ?" I asked and everyone's head turned to me in question .
I looked up bearly and hesitantly meeting jongins frowned gaze as I finished ,, t-the body .. "
,, I don't think thats a good idea " chanyeol muttered out truthfully seeming nervous .
,, I don't care I wanna see it ! " i suddenly yelled at him, shocked at the growl behind my voice, i flinched back slightly covering my mouth with my hand as everyone stared at me.
My eyes landed on jongin who looked just as shocked but somehow there was a Hint of sadness reflecting in his eyes.
He got up from the seat just as baek had finished wrapping the bandages around his arm and he made his way toward me, getting down on his knees and looking at me when I tried avoiding his gaze. I didn't want to hear him question in me anymore neither worrying .
,, ok.. " my eyes widened when he whispered that to me stretching his hand foreward and taking a hold of mine gently, at that I could feel just how anxious and hurt he was . He's never realy shown me this side of him, desperate, worried and hurt .. but most of all lost .
It's like we've lost gripp of each other.
