Llesynia sat next to Logan on the couch holding his hand as he listened to some elder named Avi lecture him on the way he spends his trust fund money "...of your trust fund was intended to last until your twenty-first birthday, Logan at the rate you're burning through it, you've got fourteen months, maybe"  Avi says "yeah, I looked at the statement I should be getting more money"  Logan says "you think because you still have checks you still have money"  Avi asks Logan squeezes Syn's hand trying to control his anger as he says "I'm not saying I deserve more I'm saying there's money missing"  Avi replies "it's complicated"  Syn scoffs softly "all right, then I'll talk to my lawyer, see if he can't figure it out"  Logan says "I'll do you one better we'll send all your financial records right over"  Avi replies superciliously as he stands up then shows himself out and Logan sighs then he calls up Veronica to see if she'd be able to help him figure out what's going on with his money.... a few hours later someone from Avi's office delivers all the files in boxes and Syn starts to go through them as Logan goes down to meet Veronica who showed up after her classes were done for the day "as I explained over the phone.... the meeting with Avi Kaufman, bean counter to the stars, didn't go very well my trust fund's evaporating faster than it should I think he's skimming off the top"  Logan tells Veronica once they reach his suites door "my dad has got a great accountant"  Veronica replies "I'm thinking I need more of a private detective to help me nail this guy to the wall"  Logan says "well, show me the records I'm sure I can make sense of...."  Veronica starts as Logan opens his front door and she sees Syn sitting on the floor in front of a few stacks of boxes and a couple of piles of files "hey Ronica"  Syn says looking up lifting the file in her hand in an attempt to wave Veronica waves her fingers at her as Logan says "go get 'em, bobcat"  Veronica rolls her eyes then walks in, sits down by Syn and gets to work Syn informs her what each pile she's already gone through stood for "I'm not the greatest at it but helping your dad at the office helped out a little when it came to taking a guess"  Syn says Veronica chuckles softly Logan leans up against the wall and watches the two girls work that is until Syn looks up at him and says while patting a spot on the floor between her and Veronica "nu-uh!.... if you want this done.... you're gonna assist!.... so slap your sexy ass right here and get to work!.... or you can go to class and actually STAY in class and LEARN somethin!"  Logan chuckles shaking his head then he walks over sits on the part of the floor where she patted picks up a few files and pretends to skim through them.... even after all the work Veronica still asks her dad to have his accountant take a look at the files Syn borrows Logan's Range Rover to take them to the office as Logan heads to campus with Veronica to go to his classes.... or to the in room casino in Mercers dorm to help keep his mind off his troubles surprisingly enough sex was NOT the first thing on his mind to work out his frustrations.... I know SHOCKER!!....
