Llesynia waited by the door for Veronica and heard her sister in law ask "these are your rape-testing coasters? this is what you're handing out?"  and Drew reply "yeah don't get raped"  Syn mutters under her breath "oh boy!"  as Veronica asks "where's Chip Diller?"  then sees her rush inside on a mission from hell Syn follows her once they reach Chip who was chatting up some girl Veronica calls out "Chip?"  Chip did not look happy to see them as Veronica holds up two different coasters and says "I want you to take a look at these coasters and see if you can spot the difference item one - printed on two sides with the name of the drug-testing manufacturer on it, distributed at the Take-Back-the-Night booth item two - printed on one side, handed out at the Pi Sig party one tests for date-rape drugs my guess? the other tests to see whether drinks are wet"  Chip replies "you don't know that find me a laced drink, and let's see if it works go on, go on find one"  he looks at his watch and says "I'll time you"  Veronica replies as she drops the coaster she brought with her in the girl next to Chip's drink and says "there you go, Bambi if it turns red, he's trying to rape you if it doesn't, he still might be trying to rape you how do you live with yourself?"  Chip replies with a smirk "oh, it's a struggle, but I manage"  Veronica loops her arm through Syn's and they walk away.... when Syn and Veronica spot Dick sitting on the couch with a girl on his lap Syn says waving her hands in Dick's direction "this one is all yours!"  Veronica smiles sarcastically at her then walks over to Dick Syn misses the conversation but stays in sight of her sister in law who returns to her shortly after.... a few minutes into the party after listening to Tim Foyle scream at his boy bouncing girlfriend Syn and Veronica spot Logan and Mercer chatting with some girls "that one is all you!"  Veronica says waving over to Logan Syn smiles and walks over to him wraps her arms around his neck and kisses his lips while completely ignoring the girls and Mercer "my choice for a date is better!"  Syn teases looking over at Veronica without letting go of Logan's neck Logan chuckles and asks with a smile "is that so!?!"  Syn hums "Mm-hm!.... I think you're just jealous!"  she teases he laughs then asks "of her more than you.... why didn't you come with me!?!"  she replies "she asked me first!"  he says "I see!.... I'll just have to be faster next time!"  she replies "that you will!.... but I'm used to you being slow so....!"  Mercer chuckles Logan pretends to be offended then he notices Syn scowl at the sound of Mercer's laughter and says "not this again!"  Syn argues "you don't like HALF my family and I don't have to like ALL your friends!.... you know what I'm gonna go back to my date you go back to the three or how many other more of yours!.... have fun!.... Logan Echolls!"  Veronica looks at the two of them in shock as Syn walks away from Logan and over to her then she noticed how Logan was watching Syn as she storms off and realizes that it was all a ploy probably to see if Mercer actually did have something to do with the rapes or the attempted one on her and Syn a few days ago or something of the like.... perhaps like give Syn a way to play bait or something so the rapist could actually get caught.... she also noticed how Mercer watched Syn and saw just how right her sister in law was when she she described him for there was a super creepy vibe coming from him and the way he stared at her Veronica shivers in disgust at the thought of Mercer anywhere NEAR her in that way and she felt like she wanted to vomit.... 

As they were walking away Syn and Veronica see Piz and Wallace rush towards them with a white cup in their hands "hey!"  Wallace says as them reach them "we got a positive"  Piz says hearing him Logan walks over and asks "a positive what?"  Wallace replies "this cup was dosed with a date-rape drug it belongs to some.... Kim Kaiser"  Veronica asks "so where's Kim Kaiser?"  Piz replies "we asked around n-no one's seen her, but we found someone who knows where she lives she's off campus by the marina, uh, the Harbor View Apartments" Veronica says "all four girls were raped in their own rooms we've got to get there I parked on campus and walked who's got the closest car?"  Logan replies "I do, but you're staying here I'll go!"  Syn and Veronica turn and look at him Syn doesn't argue with him she just nods, kisses his cheek and says softly into his ear "becareful!"  Logan kisses her lips and promises "I will!"  Wallace says to Logan "I'll go with you"  Syn teases "anything to play hero to the damsel in distress huh Ace!?!"  Wallace replies "you know it!"  they smile at each other then Wallace and Logan leave.... Syn, Piz and Veronica walk outside where the band was just ending their set Diamond Smugglers lead singer says into the mic "that's all for us tonight, people Club Flush is up next"  Veronica walks up to the stage to make an announcement "hi, uh, we're looking for Kim Kaiser we think she's been given a date-rape drug if you've seen her or you're friends with her, please come find me I'll be right in front of the stage"  then she walks off the stage..... "are you the girl looking for Kim? because Kim didn't come to the party"  a girl asks Veronica as she and Syn stand next to the stage to see if anyone would come "I saw her drink cup"  Veronica says "she lent her ID to her little sister, Carrie"  the girl replies "well that was smart!"  Syn mutters sarcastically under her breath "where's Carrie?"  Veronica asks "she wasn't feeling good she was walking back to her room"  the girl replies "which dorm?"  Veronica asks "Benes Hall you think she's all right?"  the girl asks "we're about to find out! come on Ronica!"  Syn replies taking Veronica by the hand and pulling her away from the party.... as they ran Syn got out her phone and speed dialed a number "who are you calling!?!"  Veronica asks as they continue running "Logan, he should know he's going to the wrong place then Eli.... who if I remember correctly is working tonight.... just in case!"  Syn replies Veronica nods.... Syn and Veronica walk into a room covered in pink and unicorns and find a unconscious girl laying on a bed "ugh!"  Syn groans Veronica chuckles then they hear a familiar voice say from behind them "someone call the cavalry!?!"  they turn around to see Eli standing right behind them with a smile Veronica hugs him then lets go once Syn says "Eli I need you to take this girl and Veronica to someplace safe.... I have a feeling that we won't be alone for long.... I'm gonna need to borrow the pink jacket though.... don't worry I brought Mr Sharp and Pointy with me.... as I always do!"  Eli grins then he walks into the room and picks Carrie up "the jacket Eli!"  Syn reminds him "oh!.... right!"  Veronica helps him carefully slide it off "she's been drugged so make sure that Veronica is the first person she sees"  Syn says Eli nods "hey!.... Parker and Mac's room isn't too far from here is it?!.... take her there!"  Syn adds Veronica nods as she hands Syn the pink jacket Syn puts it on and asks playfully as she twirls around like a ballerina with her arm above her head "how do I look!?!"  Veronica and Eli chuckle then leave the room with Carrie still laying in his arms....

While laying on Carrie's bed and laying fully covered under the blanket Syn hears Mercer talking to the girl he thought was unconsciously drugged and laying in bed "unicorns, really?"  he sighs then says "well, we'll definitely be needing some mood music"  he turns on the radio and Right Here, Right Now" by Fatboy Slim plays he moans appreciatively and says "you know, techno has a bad reputation, but I think it's undeserved groan if you disagree.... good we're on the same page"  she feels him sit down on the edge of the bed and place his hand on her waist and it takes everything in her not to quiver in disgust as she once again calls up Logan as well as Lamb in a three way call leaving her phone on but the light from the screen shining down on the bed once Logan answers he hears Mercer's voice say "it's unfortunate that when you wake up, all you'll know is that your hair is gone.... because it's gonna be good I'd wager your best ever and it's a me thing, I'm sorry to say I.... have no patience I mean, if I'd met you in a bar or, uh, at a party, I would have had you back here and on your back in an hour but that's an hour of my life I would have never had back, an hour of listening to you talk about unicorns...."  Syn feels Mercer stand up again as he continues his rant Logan begins to feel sick as he listens but says nothing because he figured that Syn actually did take the place of the drugged girl he went to go save but instead ended up lecturing the girls sister on what is wrong with her "and your high-school boyfriend and how you hate the taste of beer I'm just taking what you would have happily given"  Syn hears Mercer toss something then catch it and say "I mean, that's hardly a crime"  then Syn feels him sit back down on the edge of the bed and place his hand on the top of the blanket and pull it down "man you really like hearing yourself talk don't you!?! and you say we gals talk to much!.... you know I have no idea what Logan saw in you because all you do is disgust me!"  Syn says Logan chuckles softly as he listens then he hears his girl say to the boy who USED to be his friend "oh.... and.... hello!"  Syn stabs Mercer where the stomach meets the hip and Logan hears him groan and stumble backwards he hears Syn chuckle and start running as Mercer chases her.... Syn was still holding onto her phone and switchblade knife as she ran she turns and says to Mercer who was getting angrier with every step he took "so!.... shall we go see if you're partners busy!?!"  Syn fakes a gasp then says "perhaps we can have a three way!"  then she says with a "normal" tone "though I hope you don't mind if the sheriff joins in as well! so technically it would be a four way wouldn't it!?!.... MAN I HAVE been busy!.... oh!.... did I forget to mention I phoned the police while you were talking to yourself so he heard at least.... half of what you were saying and don't worry your intended target is safe in a friends room with her knight in shimmering drywall dust.... and his wife!"  Logan chuckles softly.... Mercer looks up in shock as they stand in front of Moe's bedroom and sees Syn banging on his doorway yelling with a panicking tone "help!.... help!!.... please help!!!"  Mercer growls through his teeth in a low voice "don't you dare open the door!!"  and two seconds later Moe opens the door shocked to see Mercer and Syn standing in the hallway "oh thank god!.... he was gonna rape me!!.... I had to get away!.... I banged on every door I could find and you were the first to open so.... thank you!!!!"  Syn sighs gratefully as she hugs Moe's waist "wait!.... what happened to your hand!?!"  Syn asks Logan's eyes widen in shock as he remembers that Syn claimed to have cut the guy who attacked her and Veronica the other day she just wasn't sure where she hit him "oh.... uh.... paper cut"  Moe replies nervously "that must have been some paper!"  Syn mutters under her breath Logan chuckles
