** Next Week, Monday

"3 more weeks and I can sleep past 12"

"This school year feels like it's been going on forever"

"Dead ass im tired of this shit"

Jordan came over and started dragging me across the lunch room.

"What the hell Jo?"

He stopped me in front of a table. "You have to talk to him we've been trying everything to get him to at least be mean to Zee again but nothings working"

I looked at Dee who was on his phone with his headphones in completely oblivious to everything. "Why do I have to be the one to talk to him?"

"You caused this. You broke him"

"You're over exaggerating"

Jay spoke up "He's really not"

If jay said something it must be serious.

I sighed. I have been wanting to say something to Dee for a while now but I've been busy.

I went and sat down next to Dee but he didn't notice. I poked him with my finger a few times.

He slowly looked up at me.

I gave him a small smile.

He basically jumped on me but we surprisingly didn't fall.

"Dee you're gonna suffocate me"

He only let go enough so I could breathe "I've missed you" he whispered in my ear.

I patted his back "I know, I've read the texts" every single one actually.

"Then what took you so long? I was starting to think you would never talk to me again" he finally let go.

I fixed my shirt "I didn't know what to say"

"You could've said anything even a letter would've worked"

"Well I said something now"

"So you forgive me?"

I nodded.

"Good because I've been waiting for 3 weeks to hug you again"

"Aww finally ya made up"

I looked at Z who was drinking her Coca Cola.

"I was about to have to fight you Cass but out of love though"

I started laughing "Out of love, yea okay"

"He's bestie I wouldn't have a choice"

Dee shook his head "She's just playing"

"I know" I started to get up but he stopped me.

"Where you going?"

"Back to my table obviously"

He started hugging my legs "No"

I smiled "I'll see you later"

He let go "You drove to school today?"

I shook my head "I rode with Key"

"I'ma drive you home"

I nodded "Alright" I went back to my table and sat down.

"What was that about?" Key asked once he noticed I was back.

"They wanted me to get Dee out of his feelings"

"And did you?"

"Yea I guess so"
