Pomegranate kicked the door to Sam's bedroom so hard, that it almost broke off of its hinges. Stona and Samuel were locked in a soft embrace, giving one another sweet kisses right outside of Sam's room. Samuel's tail and ears perked straight up, and Stona almost jumped out of her pajamas, as they both heard the crack of the door hitting the outside wall.

"YOU LITTLE BITCH!" Pomegranate growled at Stona. Her eyebrows furrowed, eyes gleaming with hate. Her hands were now balled up in fists.

"What'd I do?" Stona asked, confused, shaken up.

"You took MY man away from ME!" Pomegranate hissed.

"Your man?" Stona said, hiding behind Samuel. "What do you mean?" Her little head poked out from behind Samuel's large forearm.

"Ladies, please. There's enough of me to go around, but-" Samuel said, stepping between the two.

"What?" Pomegranate snapped. She was ready to throw punches at either of them.

Sam heard the commotion from the recreation room in the basement. Her ears perked up so she could hear better.

"Sounds like there's some commotion going on!" she said, further meandering through the recreation room. "I better hurry my little butt up. There must be an issue."

Sam quickly raced through the messy maze of the recreation room, grasping a couple specific board games close to her chest before she headed through the clutter to go back up the three long staircases.

"No," Pomegranate said, shaking her head. "I don't just want you as a friend, Samuel."

Samuel was shocked. "R-really?" Samuel said, questioning the magenta-haired girl. His voice shook as he spoke. Throughout the time of knowing Pomegranate, he had never seen her so angry. This must have been the side of her that not even Sam knew about.

Pomegranate was still angry, but soon, sadness overcame her anger momentarily.

"Yes. I've loved you for a long time, Samuel. Longer than she ever has. Ever since my purple eyes glazed over your adoring body, I couldn't help but fall in love with you. However, it wasn't just your looks that drew me in to you. It was how you acted. Your mannerisms. Your fun personality. I love it all, Samuel. I love you. You said before Stona came to the door, that you were going to tell me something, and you never did. This whole time, I've been thinking about those generous gestures which seemed to be more than just generosity, and I've been itching to know what you were going to tell me," Pomegranate said, through labored breaths and rivers of tears.

Samuel crouched down in front of Pomegranate, and looked at her. It was upsetting to see a friend of his and his sister's, so heartbroken. His ears plopped down over his hair, and his eyes gleamed with apologies. Part of him felt so guilty to see how his life choices could affect someone, but he knew it wasn't his fault that Pomegranate felt that way about him. After all, he had feelings for Stona that he could not suppress, and Pomegranate's emotions were not in his control, but her own.

"I'm sorry, Pommie..." he mustered. "But my heart beats for Stona. She spends much more time with me than you do, and we have this mutual connection. I crave to keep her safe and make her feel loved, and she craves my safety and compassion."

Samuel looked back at his new girlfriend, making sure she was okay. Stona was shaking, but she nodded to assure Samuel she'd be alright.

"She comes over every day," Samuel continued. "She doesn't like to be alone, and I could see that. It's one thing to not be alone in a sense of romance, but she was alone completely. Her parents are almost always never home, and she doesn't have very many friends in school."

Pomegranate nodded through her tears. "I understand, but can't you see that you and I are made for one another?"

Samuel shook his head. "I'm sorry, I do not," he explained.

"Well," Pomegranate said, looking Samuel in the eyes, "You see... I am a party girl, and you are a fun-loving, quirky guy. You like to joke around and flirt, and that's why I believe we belong together. Anyways, aside from that, can you finally tell me what you wanted to tell me?"

Samuel nodded, and gave Pomegranate a slight smile. "Sure," he said.

Through the rugged, but well-shaped trimmed hedges that surrounded the front yard of the Marque mansion, Kyle Landon quietly maneuvered his way through the foliage. Tonight was the night he would finally make Sam his bride. He had an engagement ring in his front pocket and a large pocket knife in his back pocket.

"She will either submit to being my bride, or die tonight," Kyle whispered amongst the leaves. If Sam agreed to marry him, all would be fine. If she rejected, she would die. He would slit her throat and leave her for her friends and brother to find in a bloodied, mangled mess. No one would ever suspect he was the killer.

~

"So..." Pomegranate said, clenching her fists tightly, "You wanted to tell me you had no romantic feelings for me this whole time? You just liked me as a friend? You have loved Stona for the longest time you remember and distanced yourself from me from time to time because you were scared of me?"

Samuel nodded, and stood up, going to comfort Stona.

Pomegranate cracked her knuckles and stood up slowly. "I'll give you a real reason to be afraid of me. That's to the both of you."

With those final words said, Pomegranate leaped at Samuel and Stona. Samuel stepped in front of Stona, holding his strong arms out to protect her. Pomegranate pulled her fist back, and punched it straight into Samuel's nose. Samuel grimaced as he felt his nose break. Blood started pouring from his nostrils, but he refused to fight back. Even if a woman attacked him, he would open the blows to his body. He wouldn't dare fight a woman, even if she was about to kill him. He just put his arms up for defense. He'd let Pomegranate punch him as much as she needed, and he'd never fight her back.

"How do you like that?" Pomegranate sneered, her teeth barred.

Samuel gritted his teeth and didn't say a single word. Stona screamed as she saw the blood rushing from Samuel's nose. Samuel growled at Pomegranate, and took a quick second to turn back and look to Stona. "Run!" he shouted to Stona, as Pomegranate threw another punch to his left eye. Samuel gritted harder this time, and sucked air through his teeth as he continued to brace for more pain and punches.

Stona took off at Samuel's command, rushing to the steps. Pomegranate got up and lashed at Stona, missing her by a couple inches. Stona was flying down the steps as fast as she could. Pomegranate decided it wasn't worth it to go after her if she could still beat up on Samuel.

"Damn you, you small, little bitch. I could snap your neck so quick, and you wouldn't even feel a thing," Pomegranate spat, as she walked back to Samuel, ready to throw more punches.

"W-why?" Samuel said, as the blood from his nose dripped from his chiseled cheekbones onto the pure white carpet. His left eye was now bruised purple and black, and completely swollen shut. Pomegranate's knuckles were split from punching Samuel so hard that they were bloody too.

"You have ruined my life and your little girlfriend took away what rightly belongs to me. The only thing that truly matters to me in my life," Pomegranate said, looking down at Samuel as she wiped her bloody knuckles on her pajamas. "That's you, baby."

(AN: I apologize for not updating this story very often. I am currently on holiday break, so I have quite a lot of free time to work on my stories. I have been trying to push out some artwork, because I haven't really drawn that much.

Anyways, this chapter seems to be cut a little shorter. I hope that with this chapter having more drama and a fight scene, that this story isn't as bland anymore. I promise you, this story is almost complete, and the craziest part has yet to come. Stay tuned for more.

Thank you,
