Months passed by, and Officer Lake couldn't get an interrogation out of Sam. Mrs. Marque was hospitalized due to her chronic depression after hearing of the death of her one and only son. Having to have a funeral to remember him by only made it worse.

Due to Mrs. Marque's hospitalization, and not having any money to pay the bills for the giant mansion, Sam had nowhere left to go. Both sets of her grandparents were dead, and she had no family anywhere near her. After spending all her money earned from the job she had quit last summer, she had nothing to pay for gas to visit her mother or food to fill her stomach. If Stona hadn't been killed by whoever had killed her, Sam would have moved in with Stona and her family. If she had caught signs of Pomegranate's psychopathy, she would have never invited over. The regret and depression aging in Sam's mind never faded. Day in and day out, she continuously suffered and wanted nothing to with anyone. However, Pomegranate's psychopathy had been suppressed for so long and held back so well, that no one would have ever noticed it. If not for her outburst and attempt to kill Sam and Samuel, Sam would have never knew. In her mind, Sam was in surprise that Pomegranate would kill them no matter the costs labeled on them.

With nowhere left to go, and no money left, Officer Lake took Sam in.

A/N: Well, this has dragged on for so long, I wonder if I'm ever going to finish this. This may be the end, but I may write a sequel to this.
