"If you could read my mind you would be in tears"

"Tom think about this, you are happy here, I mean what am I going to do without my bestfriend" Kayla was standing in the middle of the airport trying to hold back tears, looking up at her bestfriend.
"Kayla I have too, this is my dream"
" But what about me, I need you here" a tear fell from Kayla's cheek.
"GOD KAYLA NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT YOU" tom started yelling making kayla cry even more
"I never said that" she was almost whispering now.
" you are so f*ucking clingy, just go, I don't need this or you in my life" tom turned around and started to walk away. Kayla was left there I'm shock, no longer caring if people were watching her. memories started to flow through her head
*flash back*
"tom where did you go" Kayla yelled. Her and Tom were walking through the woods.
"boo!" tom yelled jumping out from behind a tree
"AH!" Kayla yelled "god damn it Thomas you almost gave me a heart attack" she laughed "I thought you left me out here" Tom then rapped his arms around Kayla looking into her eyes
"darling I will never leave you" he said with a grin and a sparkle in his eyes
*end of flashback*
Kayla still in the airport was replaying those words over and over again in her head "darling I will never leave you" just kept replaying and replaying as tom walked off into the distance. suddenly she couldn't take it any longer, she collapsed to her knees leaving nothing to break her fall except the hard floor.
// was it all one lie, is it all now just a sweet memory//
