Chapter 15
(Lillie's PoV)
Ash is in a relationship? Is it with Hikaru? But they said they are not dating and it doesn't look like they're lying either. So who is Ash's girlfriend?
Forget about that mystery girl, I want to focus on myself. What am I gonna do now? Do I give up just like that?
"It's not Hikaru or anyone from our group. You may not know her personally, but I think you have heard of her before."Luna said. She sat on the edge of her bed and signaled me to sit next to her.
"Does she go to our school?"I asked.
"No. She's not from Alola, but from Kalos. Does Serena Yvonne ring a bell?"She asked.
Serena Yvonne? Isn't she the daughter of the Queen of Kalos? How is she connected to this? Does she know the mystery girl?
"How dense can you be, Lillie?"Luna sighed. Is she reading my mind just now? "No, but I can tell from your facial expression. Jeez, you're like Ash sometimes. Anyways, Serena is Ash's girlfriend or should I say, his fiancée."
"Wait- what!?"I shouted. I quickly covered my mouth once I remembered Ash is still sleeping. "How? I can't imagine Ash talking to a princess with his current manners."
"That's true, but Ash and Serene are childhood friends."Luna said. "10 years ago, Serena and her mother went to Kanto to meet Professor Oak. They are asking for his help for their research about Mega Evolution and..."
"And?"I raised an eyebrow.
"And there she met three kids; Ash, Gary and Leaf."Luna said. "Ash of course spoke to her like he always do and Serena was shock to meet someone who talks to her like she's just any ordinary kid you can find at the town. She expected for him to talk to her like everyone does at Kalos. Of course she didn't got mad because she always wanted a friend and someone who doesn't see her as a princess but as an ordinary girl."
I looked at Ash, he's still snoring like a baby. I guess this is it. I am no match for Serena after all.
"Never give up 'till it's over!"I heard his voice. Oh Ash... I don't want to hear it from you.
"Thank you, Luna, for telling me. Don't feel guilty about it because I'm not giving up, just like what Ash taught us."I said. I head to the door and opened it. "See you tomorrow." I said as I close the door behind me.
The ocean waves at me as I stand under the warm sun. It is currently 7 in the morning and I am the first one to wake up. I m currently at the balcony outside of my room, which once belongs to my mother whenever she uses the cruise. I look down at the ocean one last time before I leave- what? I look back at the ocean as I caught a glimpse of something shining brightly beneath the water. I stared at the object for five seconds before a group of Sharpedos swims by and the object disappeared.
What is that? A pearl doesn't shine like that and it can't be from a Pokemon either because a Chinchou and a Lantern normaly has only two light orbs. I went back to my room and closed the sliding door behind me and called Mother. She once told me story when I was a kid about a city that sank down into the bottom of the ocean. It's a myth and the city is called Atlantis. Mother loves this story and she always tells me how she tries to search for the but gave up because she has no clues or leads to where to find the lost empire.
"Lillie?" Mother said, "Do you need anything?"
"I have a question for you -"I said.
