Ash's POV

Yesterday, I was called to meet Ms. Lusamine to talk about the plan with Atlantis. It looks like other organizations from other regions are also sending some people to help with this huge project. This can speed up the process of trying to rebuild the forgotten city. After that, I was excused so I went back to my room. I brushed my teeth and didn't bother to change my clothes because I was too exhausted.

I lay down, trying my best to fall asleep. But seeing how I am currently on a call with Luna for an hour, it didn't work.

"Hey, brother. Looks like I'm the leader now!" Luna bragged.

"Don't get too cocky. I'm the one who assigned that role to you," I said. "If anything goes wrong, I will take all the blame so don't do anything stupid."

"Why did you choose me?" She suddenly asked. Is something bothering her?

"Because I trust you, Luna," I answered honestly. "You're strong and way smarter than me. Make me proud, sister."

I waited for a response but I only heard her light breathing. "I'm going to sleep. Good luck tomorrow."

"Thank you, Ash. Good night."

Luna's POV

Gyarados' attack helped in slowing down the pokemon chasing us but only for a second. The wild pokemon forced its way through the large stones and stared at us. Now that I looked at it, it's my first time seeing this pokemon. I took out my Pokedex from my right pocket and aimed it at the pokemon. Click! Once I took its picture, I put it back inside my pocket and signaled Gyarados to swim away again. The unknown pokemon is approaching us as fast as my brother's Greninja, no, it may even be faster than that! Its abnormal speed with its gigantic feature doesn't make sense. Gyarados used Dragon Dance again after a minute and we are now moving faster than before, but the pokemon was still swimming after us at an extreme speed. I put my left hand in my left pocket to reach a certain stone but I was stopped when the pokemon also used Stone Edge at us. Before us was much larger stones compared to Gyarados'. We faced the pokemon and Gyarados used Stone Edge on where we stood. I jumped down to the platform while getting ready to use my keystone.

"Gyarados, use Giga Impact!"

The huge pokemon roared and charged toward the pokemon. Gyarados made a direct hit and quickly rushed back in front of me after his attack.

Roaar! The pokemon cried and stomped the ground. What the heck? Both me and Gyarados were surprised when we saw that the pokemon almost took no damage at all. Is it resistant to normal attacks? I ordered Gyarados to use Stone Edge to surround the pokemon, making a huge wall that is half of a circle. Unsurprisingly, it managed to destroy all the stones.

"Use Crunch!"

Gyarados attacked the pokemon from behind. We used the Stone Edge to hide his movements so he can surprise him at the back. He managed to hit the pokemon but he was thrown away immediately by the pokemon. Shit. We did deal some damage but I'm not sure if we can pull it off again. I looked at the keystone in my hand.

"Gyarados, are you ready?"

The pokemon roared and I pointed the stone toward Gyarados.

Braawr! To my surprise, I saw a sudden big bluish ball hit the unknown Pokemon on its side causing a huge wave of water and bubbles to almost push me back. The sand where the pokemon stood stirred up, acting as a smoke screen. That was a Focus Blast from Gary's Blastoise. I looked in the direction where the attack came from and Blastoise was standing on its two feet while Gary was floating beside it. I jumped on Gyarados and we went toward their location. Once he noticed us, he signaled us to go faster with an annoyed face. This bitch. I thought to myself, irritated. I landed next to him and we both waited for the sand to clear up.
