Chapter 16

(Lillie's PoV)

I sigh as I put on my dry suit. This suit was designed by Faba, one of the two admins from Aether Foundation. To my surprise, it is actually pretty easy to wear and I don't find any discomfort and it is actually light. It's easy to move with it too, unlike other dry or wetsuits I have tried before. I put on my vest and two scuba tanks behind me. It's actually not that heavy and one tank can last for 3 hours so we have a total of 6 hours under the water.

I also put on other important types of equipment like a flashlight and a pocket knife. Why a pocket knife? You'll never know when you will get bored so killing is an option, just kidding. We might need it for emergencies and it is called Dive Knife, so no killing.

Anyways, we talked it out earlier and I ended up as one of the people going to examine the place. The other members are Ash, Leaf, Gary, Paul, and Dawn. Luna wants to stay behind for some reason and I don't like the way she was grinning at me earlier. May is scared of the water, she has aquaphobia. Drew wants to stay behind so he can hit on May- I mean to have a Pokemon Battle with her and Mitsumi is going to be their referee. Mitsumi doesn't want to come because of personal reasons, she was also grinning at Dawn the way Luna was grinning at me. Ugh.

I grabbed the Regulator and the Diving Mask and went out of the room. I headed straight back to Hobbes' cabin or the Bridge where everyone is supposed to meet. I opened the door and Ash, Gary and Leaf were already inside, waiting for me and the other two. They are standing around the table and are playing some type of card game. Actually, why are they standing? There are chairs that are stocked beside me. Don't tell me they are just being lazy to get their own chair.

"Hello, Lillie!"Leaf called as I walked towards them."Do you want to join? It's called Uno and it's pretty easy to play."

"I guess we can play while waiting for the two," I said as I stood next to Leaf. I also did not bother to get my own chair. I was infected by their disease.

We played for five minutes before we got interrupted by Dawn and Paul. Even before they get inside the room, we can already hear the two of them shouting at each other.

"Can you just please help me put on my scuba tank?!"Dawn shouted as the two entered the room.

"No. You can do that by yourself and I don't waste my energy on small things."Paul said.

Ash sighed as he went walking towards the two, "Come on now, Paul. This is why there are no girls who want to be with you."

"Don't start with me, Ketchum."Paul glared at him.

"Ash!" Dawn cried as she hold onto Ash's arm tightly. I don't know why but I got the feeling I really want to punch Dawn."Paul is bullying me!"

"I am not bullying you!"Paul said back as the two kept on glaring at each other.

"Turn around Dawn. I will put them on for you."Ash said as he put the two scuba tanks at her back."There you go. You could have just asked me, Leaf, or Lillie to put them on for you."

"What about me?"Gary asked.

Hobbes' cleared his throat, "Now that you are all complete, please proceed to the capsule pad. It will take you to the bottom area of the ship. I will explain the rest later."

"Don't ignore me!"Gary cried as Leaf dragged him to the left corner of the room where the capsule pad is. We stand inside the small room as the door closed on its own.

The capsule-like elevator moved on its own and we're descending. The door opened and we are now inside the laboratory. There is a computer monitor at the desk beside us. I opened it and it showed Hobbes.
