"Pomfrey never told me that I could not punch you again!"

SHE was horror-struck.
Spending time with Malfoy, of all people? Really?
With nothing to do, Hermione sat besides Draco and started reading the contents of the potion she needed to give to him.
"Whatever are you doing, Granger? Serve me!"
Serve me?!
"I'm not your house-elf!""Yes, my house elf never punches me!"
"It was all your fault!"
"It was the oaf's fault! The Hippogriff was trying to kill me!
"Buckbeak didn't try to kill Harry! Or anyone!"
"Ah yes, Saint Potter! Yes, he survived and all, big deal! Things just fall in his lap!"
"Fall in his lap? He's going through things a bratty person like you could never handle, or imagine!
"He does? Does he have a broken nose and a swollen face?!"
FLICK.
Draco suddenly felt a sharp, shooting pain in his nose and then it felt as if the bone in his nose was readjusting itself, by rubbing hard against his skin. It felt as if blood would shoot out of his nose any moment, but it didn't. The pain, though over after a few seconds, still left him a little dazed. His nose had stopped bleeding, finally.
"What did you do now, Granger?"
"Your nose is fine now, and your face isn't really that swollen. Just the area that came in contact with my fist. That should shut you up."
"It still hurts. You have a strong fist, I'll give you that."
Hermione didn't smile, but the look that her eyes held suddenly weren't intending to cut him in the face.
"Your condition isn't serious enough. Why are you staying in the hospital wing? You can talk and breathe quite normally, and you can take your potion after each class."
"You expect me to show my swollen face to everyone I encounter? I can't hide it anywhere else!"
Hermione mentally face-palmed. She took the potion and made him drink it.
"It is sour."
"What do you expect then?"
She turned around and went for the door.
"Hey mudblood!"
"Pomfrey never told me that I could not punch you again!"
"Good night."
Confused, she turned around. She smiled a little when she saw what she had done to his face, and murmured a 'good night'.
She closed the big doors of the hospital wing as she went out with little hurried footsteps. The room's only source of light then was the soft moonlight reflecting the huge, glass windows. And with nothing better to do, Draco drifted off to sleep.
