He took my hand and we walked for a while. We walked along a beach, and I could feel the sand going into my flip flops and in between my feet. I always loved that sensation, it just seemed relaxing to me. The beach was so beautiful but yet it was abandoned, for whatever reason. We reached a corner of the beach with a picnic blanket laid out and a candles surrounding it. The sun was setting and the sky was a coral colour, it was truly breathtaking! As we both sat down I was speechless, did Jake do all this for me?
‘The reason I brought you out here Nessie is so I could ask you something, something important.’ What did Jake mean by this. I was worried, and confused.
‘I love you so much Nessie, and I will until the end of time. Ever since I laid my eyes on you the very first day you were born I knew you were the one!’ He said looking slightly nervous. I was over the moon by what he had just admitted to me, but the he took a ring out of his back pocket, opening the petite black box and in it was a small ring that sparkled elegantly.
‘I love you Renesmee Cullen. Will you marry me?!’
I couldn’t believe it, I loved Jake so much!
‘YES!’ I nodded and then, he picked me up spinning me in circles and the kissed me. As I kissed him back he pulled away to place the beautiful silver ring on my finger! I kissed him once more and then we just lay under the sky in each others arms. I asked him how we were going to tell the others but he didn’t seem worried about that. We talked about the date, where, and who would be invited. This truly was the most amazing birthday I could ever have!
