Chapter seven-The perfect dress
We went in loads of wedding dress shops, but none of them really had the perfect dress, and in aunt Alice’s mind none of them were good enough for me. But eventually we came to a small corner shop with the name ‘The petite bridal shop’. Alice automatically dragged us all in there, and she was right to. Right in the centre of the shop was my perfect dress. The white strapless fitted dress was so elegant and graceful it had to be perfect for me. The top of the dress was fitted perfectly and towards the hip it started to flow out gracefully. And on the hip line was a perfect purple ribbon belt with small white diamond jewels. Aunt Rose saw me looking at this dress an insisted that I tried it on. And when I did I fell in love instantly. When I walked out of the changing room momma, Aunt Alice and aunt Rose said ‘you look amazing Nessie, so beautiful, you belong in that dress!’ I blushed and decided that this was the one. But dress shopping wasn’t over we had to find dresses for my amazing bridesmaids. Alice decided it would be ideal If we got the bridesmaids dresses from the same place. And then we saw them short lilac dresses, to just over the knee with a fitted shape all the way down. Momma, aunt rose, and aunt Alice looked so divine and gorgeous in these dresses they just has to be them!
‘so that’s £700 then please’ the sales woman said happily. I was unsure about the price but Alice convinced me that it was quiet good.
Soon we all arrived back at the house when Jasper said ‘successful day of shopping then?’
‘Yes honey, we got the dresses! And Jake, no looking!’ Alice replied quickly whilst winking at Jacob.
‘okay, okay I wouldn’t dare! Even though Ness looks beautiful in everything!’ he replied walking over to me and kissing me. It was getting late so me and Jake said goodnight to everyone and headed up into our room. Jake told me that daddy had agreed to let him sleep in the bed with me as we are now engaged but still not to try anything, but that was fine with me as all I needed was Jake’s embrace.
‘Goodnight beautiful, I love you more than you will ever know!’ he said as he kissed me forcefully, I kissed him back settled into my bed, whilst Jake was holding me.
‘I love you more Jakey!’ I said laughing.
Jake was asleep within seconds, but I lay awake thinking, about the wedding, the honeymoon, our life in general. As soon as I was Mrs Black I would be complete.
