Ironman and Nitrous

Chapter 4

We were met by Tony's driver. He introduced himself as Happy Hogan. After the introductions he led the way to a a silver Chrysler.

"Ladies," he smiled as we got in then hurried to the driver seat and took off.

We walked in and toward the elevator and were greeted by a Ms. Mayweather. She had beautiful red hair and green eyes.

She explained a few things then opened the elevator and hit the button for the top floor. I smiled and said thank you before walking in.

"Mandy?"

The elevator doors shut.

"What is it?"

"It's Mr. Stark. When we got closer to him I noticed his body language change."

"What do you mean?"

"I might be wrong but I think he might know me. Or at least know of me."

"Are you sure?"

"Not really."

"Well we can go."

"I don't. I'll be fine. lets just eat and leave."

"Alright."

The rest of the elevator ride was rather quiet. When we got off Mandy asked where the restroom was then disappeared down some long hallway.

I caught Tony's gaze when I looked over at him.

"Do you have a problem with me?"

"No."

"Then what is it?"

"Nothing."

I walked over and sat next to him, "now, I know, you're lying."

Tony didn't say anything. He just pored me a drink and went back to sitting there in silence.

When Mandy returned tony started to talk again. But only to her and that was it.

Miria passed out after dinner do to, to much consumption of alcohol.

"I'm never going to get her home."

Tony placed a blanket on Miria, "come back and get your friend in the morning. She can stay here."

"I couldn't. I promised I'd keep an eye on her."

"You're welcome to stay."

"Alright."

"I'll go get you a blanket and pillow unless you want the guest room."

"No, no. I'll take the couch. Thank you Tony."

He smiled then went and got the blanket and pillow. When he returned he handed them to Mandy the said, "good night," before leaving.
