Chapter 12

---TONYS POV ---

When she said that I smiled. I had to. When I looked her in the eyes I knew she'd be the one to save me from this empty life of mine.

"So. You hungry?"

"I could eat."

"Ok good."

--- Miria's POV ---

The blond man from before walked out of the elevator with food, "Kathy said you ordered these."

"Ya," tony got up and grabbed the bags from the man, "we were going to eat if you don't mind."

"All you do is eat Stark. Why don't you have Jarvis keep your food warm and come down to the Gym for training."

"Come on Steve."

I walked over to the two, "let's eat after. I want to see you in the middle of the ring."

"Ok," he smiled back at me then went and put the food in the kitchen.

--- IN THE GYM ---

"So Steve. What is it today?"

The two climbed into the ring.

"Come at me and hit me."

"What?"

"You charge into a fight with no plan. You are reckless and I'd place money on a bet that you've never been in a real fight in your life."

I could see tony smile, "ok Captain," tony went on and tried to hit him but didn't get the chance. when tony gave up Steve turned to me, "you want in?"

"No."

Tony stood up, "Oh come on Maria," he then went and moved the ropes to let me climb in, "let's see what you've got. I've seen your powers in action. now let's see your combat skills."

I got up from my seat and climbed in, "oh, ok. don't laugh. Give me a minute and I'll have it down."

Tony got out and took his seat.

I looked at Steve, "give it your all. Don't take it easy on me because I'm a girl."

"I wouldn't think of it," he smiled. We circled the ring then I charged at him. I knew how to fight the good captain after a few rounds of getting my ass kicked.

I pined Steve on his back, "you're holding back, aren't you?"

He smiled then flipped me on my back. when I got up he was already sending a kick my way. It took a minute for me to blink but I grabbed his foot and sent him into the ropes.

I could hear tony laughing.

"Give up?"

"Normally no," Steve got up and took a fighting stance, "and normally I would continue."

"I feel a but coming on."

"But I'd prefer to continue this in a place that won't break."

I laughed as we got out of the ring, "say the word and will continue this brawl elsewhere."

"You can bet your ass on that Captain."

He smiled then tony and I went and ate.
