Ironman and Nitrous

chapter 10

the others took seats at a table while i followed fury to the consul in the front.

"Director i want to say thank you. i know my past is a big issue so thank you."

"well trust is a two way street. so talk."

i looked back at the Avengers then out into the sky and said, "struckers got two superhumaned people."

a small concern grew over fury, "what are you saying?"

"mandy, or what ever her name is, wasn't kept in the loop as much as i hopped."

"what did you gather."

"the twins, a girl and boy, were given superpowers from loki's ceptor."

he turned around and yelled out, "you have to be kidding me!" this only drew the attention of everyone on the bridge.

"director i want to help you. make up for my wrong doings."

"stay on this path and ill see what i can do for you."

"sir may i ask you something? Well two things?"

"yes."

"do i have any parents?"

"your fathers all thats left."

"really? is there a chance that i can meet him?"

"help me out with this new, problem and ill personally take you to him myself."

"thank you sir."

"And the other?"

I looked at ironman then back at him, "I was sitting in the stadium for the stark expo and this funny feeling came over me."

"What?"

"I tell you this because I know you can keep a secret," I looked back at ironman then continued, "the funny feeling was when I looked at ironman... well I've been trapped in deep dark places and all that pain that came with disappeared when I saw him. I knew deep down he'd be the one to save me."

"From what?"

"Myself," I looked back at fury.

another woman walked up to Fury.

"go and join the others. i'll be there momentarly."

Miria ran off and sat down in the open seat next to Tony.

"are you sure letting her know about you being her father is wise?"

"no," fury looked from Hill to miria at the table, "i havent seen Miria like this since the day she turned 18. she's acting like her old self again."

"keep your guard up sir. you know what happened the last time."

Miria looked up and caught Fury's gaze. Fury nodded his head then looked back at hill, "I know hill. I know. Just make sure no one and I mean No One can gain access to her real birth certificate."

"Yes sir"

"Thank you hill."

Fury turned away from hill and headed for the table where Miria and the other avengers were.
